ok i went on one date with this girl ,and i told her lets just be friends now she is saying she wants me in her and that she loves me and my opinon matters to her she is so clingy its so dumb yesterday she told me her friend died a year ago and she was sad i was just about to block her off my list until she said that i am hurtuing i dont want to hurt this girl but i cant take people being so clingy she acts as if i am the center of her world i hate it I am only 19 years old for crying out loud she asked me do u care about me i said yes as a friend, but yesterday i blocked her and she emaild me saying u lied u didint care about me i am hurt i did lie but u have to understand no matter what i did i would of end up hurting her and me but i feel so bad i shouldint of lied what do i do now should i call her and aplogize or just let her grive

I am really close friends with a guy who is a year younger than me. It is not a relationship, we are happy just being good friends. My problem is he used to go out with one of my best friends. He got her pregnant (she is keeping the baby) and they had a rather messy break up. I am still friends with both but my female friend isn't happy that I am still speaking to him. She is really having a go at him and making out that it is his fault, although it obviously isn't. She also keeps saying things to my guy friend along the lines of "Where's your girlfriend today then?", clearly referring to me. This has always been a joke amongst my friends because me and my guy mate are so close, but now she is taking it too far. Can anyone give me any advice? Thanks.

My bf & I have been together for 2yrs & we live together... we argue a lot over little things but would make up and apoligize right after & we also do talk about it because we both realize how stupid it really is, yet we can't help but argue still. We would argue while cooking, argue about cleaning, even argue while playin games. Well everytime we argue, I would think of everything bad that has happen(put all our arguements together) & just go all negative. How do I stop that? Our arguments really isn't all that serious & we do notice it. but my negativity, I can't help.!

To my parents eyes, i am a worthless girl, with no meaning and no reason to live. But my closest friends tell me im much more than that. They have continusly tried to marry me off, they have told me that they wanted to abort me, and they have just made my life a living hell!!!! What am i to do? ok, there is this guy at work that is totally adorable, totally goal oriented, totally into me,....and totally taken. he's had a girlfriend now for 3 years. he is 18 years old and i am irrevocably in love with him. i've been the "other woman" now for about 6 months and now, he won't talk to me....he said he doesn't want to hurt me anymore....obviously he isn't going to leave her...but i'm in love with him....my question is, how do i get over him?? or is there a way to get him to talk to me again???? is having a little bit of him better than not having him at all??? its killing me to vision my whole life without him...HELP

and he's been acting really cold and distant from me the past two weeks. Like EXTREMELY! He'd pull away from me when I'd try to touch him...he'd be really short with me and pick fights and put me down and call me really bad names.. He got a room in the barracks and actually didnt come home for a few nights here and there. When we went back home to CT for the weekend he dropped me off at my parents place and didnt talk to me or see me till they day we left.
I'd call my mother and friends and cry to them every night because I was so hurt...
And just last night he started being nice to me again.. He says he acted like that because he was nervous about the deployment... but what he did was overkill...I feel like Im letting him off the hook because Im blowing it off like it didnt really bother me and being nice back to him because he leaves wed...
But what's the deal?? I totally dont know whats going on with him or us, or if I believe the 'I was just nervous' ploy...What am I to do???

I'm a freshman in college and i have a boyfriend here. When I first got to college, I didn't know anyone and was surrounded by mostly guys, and made guy friends. My boyfriend and I have problems when he thinks I am getting to 'close' to another guy. I would never cheat on him but he believes I am 'emotionally cheating' by becoming close friends with other guys. i care about him a lot and stopped hanging out with my other guy friends. I thought that that was a reasonable compromise. However, my best friend (male) and I have three of the same classes and always do our work together. My boyfriend recently said that he is very uncomfortable with me working with my friend, and that he wants me to stop being friends with him. My friend has an amazing girlfriend and neither one of us would ever do anything to hurt our bf/gf, its a platonic but pretty close relationship. My question is is it possible to have a platonic friendship while you're in a relationship and how do i convince him its ok?

a year ago i was not over catching my x cheating on me and i ran into a mutual freind of his,we clicked instantly.he held me that night till i slept and was such a gentlman.i saw him a couple months after and he told me i was killing him,my x was freaking out that we liked eachother so he backed off and kept his distance.so here i am a year later still wondering about him,so i called him last week and was straight up w/him by saying he was eating me alive,he said it was mutual and he thinks im beautiful and he had no idea thats how i felt,but he has been seeing someone for a month now and he said he was only being honest and fair to me and continued to tell me how beautiful he thinks i am,so i was confused as to whether he likes me or was letting me down easy,so i told him(in respect towards the girlfriend)that he had to tell me to let it go,he said no,i told him he had to,he said he cant and told me again how he thinks im so beautiful.what is going on here?
