I am getting married at the end of August and i am a glasses wearer. Now i have purchased my dress etc i am in a real quandry about whether to wear my glasses. I could start wearing my contacts now so people get used to seeing my in them before the day (otherwise all they'd think is "where are her glasses?"), but i do feel i look better in glasses generally. However, i think i may regret choosing to wear glasses in future years. Have any other ladies been in this position, what decision did you make and were you happy with it???

theyre at it all the time..always in a bad mood and dont even bother if im around listening.5 years of my life have been spent enduring this.it hasnt been easy.do not know wat to do.all the unpleasantness in the house is getting to me.and im worried its partly my fault i dont do anything to stop it.but then i dont want to take sides either.the fault is both of theirs.and get shouted at by them if i say all this affects me.seriously need help.

I know it's wierd sounding. But they tell me what I can and can't do, where I can and can't go. They tell me if I can drive my truck or not. I pay for it, I put gas in it. The only thing they provide me is a place to stay. But I can't stand up to them and tell them that I'm grown! I'm 21 and still have a curfew of 12 only on the weekends. I'm scared of getting in trouble if I stay out! I have to do something or I'm crack and go crazy....

Suggestions would be nice.....

i find this extremely difficult, i asked a question about heart of gold and the answers so far are means caring,loving,put other before you etc... i get this said to me regularly by different family members and friends but i dont think i am doing anything special except been me.

For about a year I've been totally into this girl and her into me most times. We've had a couple of dates and done other couple-y things, without going into any detail. But basically she's playing me hot and cold -- one day she's all over me and the next she totally ignores me.

ive been with my fella for 4 months, im falling in love with him, he said it will take him longer as he has been hurt bad in the past. he has just given me a car,
anyway he didnt seem himself the other day, hes in the raf and i know he was very busy, i texted and asked if everything was ok he said yes fine just chill.

so i texted back and said "only asking cos u seem to have been funny with me the past few days"
after that he hasnt replyed and he hasnt since and its been a day and a half now!
we havent gone one day without speaking or texting each other since we met so im so unsure as what to do.
shall i call him? or shall i leave it up to him?
we are both 25

please help!!! i just dont know what to do????

Hi,
I lost my Love in life. From that day, happiness left me.
Most of the time i'll be moody. I know i can't get him back.
I'm worried that no one in this world loves me.
Why am i punished like this?
In this state of mind,i got a guy( Friend) .When i talk to him, i feel relieved. I could forget my past in his friendship. But the problem is, he couldn't move any further in our relationship like marriage. That i can understand. But the problem is , he is trying to have physical relationship with me.
I cannot accept that, and at the same time i can't miss him. He is not forcing me to do anything. But i know he strongly wants it.

What should i do in this situation?

I have just got a new boyfriend (been together just over a month) and i am being totally insecure (i dont show this to him).

Anyway i have had really really REALLY bad luck with men in my life and this is the first guy to show me love and respect.

My problem is im totally insecure (i dont have a very high self esteem!) i get all upset if he doesnt say "i love you" at the end of a text if i say it to him (which is know is really stupid cuz i know he loves me and he always says it when were face to face) and i get all upset if i dont see him every day (i think he is avoiding me even though the fact of the matter is that i see him almost every day and he is probaly just tired and wants to spend a night with his family every now and then).

I know all this is ridiculous but i still cant stop feeling that way. I know he loves me and enjoys being with me.

How can i stop feeling so insecure about myself and just enjoy what we have together?
