If he is in a true relationship with you and YOU are his only thought, then there shouldn't be any reason to think it. Relationships break all too often due to the called 'ex' factor. If the relationship is on a strong solid foundation and there iare true trust between the two of you, then there 'could' be some 'just friends' factor thrown in. But if the relationship is new and you are trying to make it work, then the 'ex' should be no where near close to the picture! As mush as a guy wishing to have that ex's 'nookie' call, it all boils down to how much he truly cares for you.
I could never do that with someone I am with.

If I break up with my current g/f (hope I will never do it), and I have the opportunity to hook up with my ex because she shows me that she has changed her mind and she is looking to build a family with me, then I wouldn't think it twice because she was the most g/f that I missed after a break up in my whole life. The reasons why she was the one that I missed most are: we never argued, her parents loved me as if I were their own son, her sisters liked me very much, to start a relationship with her I had to wait for 4 years etc...
To be honest, though I moved on with my life and she has moved on with hers, there are moments (few seconds not more) that I still think about her and the great time we had passed together. But as I said these moments are for a few seconds because now I have a new g/f who I love and respect. And I'm willing to meet her parents in a few days time too.

About the same number of men as women hook up with the ex simply for the "benefits". Both genders enjoy sex. Many men, as well as women, "hook up" because they still have strong feelings for their ex, and want to see if they can get the relationship going again.

I have done both. When I have done it hopeing it will go further it was because we stop seeing each other over something stupid or small . When it was just for the nookie or sex, it was because we both got caught up in the moment and wanted companionship for the evening and knew it wouldn't go any farther.

Well i have. It was New Year and i had no one and i needed some love. So i called her up and made an excuse for her to come over. Cut things short she ended staying for 2 days. The reason i only called her was to get laid...nothing else
