ive been with my fella for 4 months, im falling in love with him, he said it will take him longer as he has been hurt bad in the past. he has just given me a car,
anyway he didnt seem himself the other day, hes in the raf and i know he was very busy, i texted and asked if everything was ok he said yes fine just chill.
so i texted back and said "only asking cos u seem to have been funny with me the past few days"
after that he hasnt replyed and he hasnt since and its been a day and a half now!
we havent gone one day without speaking or texting each other since we met so im so unsure as what to do.
shall i call him? or shall i leave it up to him?
we are both 25
please help!!! i just dont know what to do????

As you may know....guys are funny when it comes to relationships. Especially if you have given him any signals of the "L" word. This is especially true if he has been hurt in the past. Four months is still short to use the "L" word on him since he just got out of a bad one. Allow him to heal first before giving him that signal. Be sure that he feels the same for you before you ever tell him. From the way it sounds, he could be just needing space from you if he had gotten that signal from you. His emtotions are still mixed and hurt. Just allow him space for a few days. Email him instead. That way, he can read it without getting that feeling of clingyness. If you two have been in close contact everyday since you started dating and all of the sudden he stopped, then he may be sensing that committment fear if you have given him any indication of the "L" word. Like I said, guy are weird at times. They don't tend to show their heart as easily or properly. Be patient with him. Let him heal so give him a couple of days before calling him. If he asks you why you haven't called or text him, let him know you were were being patient and wanted to give him space in case he felt you were being too clingy (from his last message of "everything is fine, just chill").

even if the urge to give him a call is so strong. i suggest that as a girl you shouldn't call him. beacuse i've read in a psychology book about "25 reasons why women shouldn't call men"...one of the reasons is that, he didn't call you back when he said he'd do so.and another is, when you just called to say hi..we may be living in the post-modern era where gender equality is an accepted social norm, but simple rules of feminism says that women should leave it up to the boys to make the first move...

call him personally. I would have called him personally in the first place. Some people need or like person to person contact. Hearing the voice on the other line knowing that they care. You are going to pull your hair out till you know something for sure and me being me would take the initiative and not wait....

hey dont be upset.he must be really busy. you cant forget that he has gifted you with a car it cant be for fun i think you are misunderstanding him such misconceptions usually lead a relationship to an end so dont worry take initiative and write to him soon.

he obviously needs some space, maybe just something is upsetting him at work (would be a stressful job). give him a few days, then just ask him how he is.
