Family & Relationships - 22 February 2007

My husband and I have been narried for 4 years. We have a large family. He had 3 kids when we married, i had 2 and then we had one together. there are still 4 kids at home now. He works away from home and is driving every day. he leaves the house at 4 a.m. and doesnt return until 8 p.m. Needless to say, we get very little time together. We never had a honeymoon, either, so we thought it was time for us to get away for a weekend. We would like to go one of the last weekends in march. We both enjoy fishing, and outdoors, but want to do something different for our trip. something relaxing. We have about 600 bucks saved to go on a weekend. We live in southeast Ga. He's asked me to plan this trip, lucky me! So I post this question to get some ideas on what to do to get us out of here for a few days. Thanks for any ideas you have.

my ex and I dated for about 5 years and then we fell apart and I cheated, from that I found out that I was going to be a father, we brok up and she is now going to get married, but she dosent want to its a prearrainged marriage. I am recently divorced (legally), but have been living single for 8 months. Before that, there was talk of divorce for 3-4 years. My ex has been dating someone else for 2 years and we haven't had anything that resembles a loving relationship for a long time. My point in saying all this is that it is essentially as if I've been divorced for 3 years, but legally for only 3 months or so. I am a Christian and I prayed to God to help me move past all the bad feelings I had for my ex before I considered dating again. I did and I've been dating someone for about 1.5 months now. I know I've found my soul mate. We've but have already discussed marriage, kids, finances, (all the things you should discuss before marriage, etc.) I know that my coworkers and family will all say I'm crazy or rushing, but I don't think I am. I have never felt as close to or in love with anyone else. We pray and worship together and have a great love and respect for each other. Thank you for your advice.

Well, the best man was his father, the 7 yr. old nephew was a groomsmen, and the sister-in-law was a bridesmaid. They backed out because they did not agree that we were getting married away. They were for it until the groom didn't call them for a week. And what about the 7yr old not going to his uncle's wedding. How devistating is that to him, since it was talked up for 9mths? We tried talking and his dad said I would understand if you did not talk to us again but that is your choice not ours. The dad also said I am immune to feeling guilty and showed no remorse. The Mother and sister in law are lonely and started this whole thing. They stated the groom doesn't put enough effort in to the family because he doesn't call or stop in a weeks time. The longest was a week-n-1/2 time. The mother tries to be real controlling and when she doesn't get her way she talks bad about us, ignores us, and puts stress on us until we give in. What do we do?

Whenever I am at the mall or something I notice a group of girls with a baby. One is a newborn mom and the others are her girlfriends. Should I make a move on all of them and see which one will take the bait or should I be selective and only go after the baby momma? I mean if the freakin dad is not around she is free game right?

Haven't had much dating experience but I went on a 1st date w/ a guy I've never met before. I'm wondering about what he's really out for and would like some honest answers.

He started asking about the my past relationships, if I've had any flings, if I "did stuff" with them, asked what I'd look like my glasses off, then what I'd look like with my clothes off. Then within the first half hour he asked me if I would go down for a weekend trip with him. He kissed me and then asked me if I usually kiss on the first date. He continued to compliment me and said that I was blushing even though I wasn't. But I felt like the conversations weren't really going anywhere. He seemed to talk A LOT about a subject he was passionate about, but we didn't really connect conversation wise.

I was taken aback by the questions he was asking me though. Didn't think they were appropriate for a 1st date. Guys please shed some light on what he was doing. Is he only out for sex?

So I was telling my mom how one of my neighbors who is a boy about 15 has no friends cause all he does is follow his 16 year old sister around 24/7 and this morning my mom got a call from the boy's mom saying that my brother said that I said he has no friends and that he is really sad and hurt and how he is planning to confront me and ask if i said it but I mean if someone said that about me I could care less because its their opinion and I have plenty of friends.So now i dont know what to say when he comes over cause I dont want to further hurt his feelings.So if you could give me something to say that would be great.
