I think sex drive in a marriage comes and goes, for both the husband and wife. After awhile, familiarity sinks in and the novelty of marriage and being married wears off, and it's back to the daily grind. Especially once children are in the family. I would also say that when I have a cold, about the last thing on my mind is having sex, I mean puhleeze!! My nose is stopped up, I'm coughing, sneezing, aching, I can't breathe...yeah, that's real condusive to having sex...NOT!!!

Alot of couples, mostly womans sex drives go down after they marry but not everyone..mine hasn't i have been married a year and still very much enjoy having my intimate moments with my husband and i don't think i my sex drive would ever stop.....
Keep in mind when your spouse doesn't get any....they usually go looking somewhere else!

Read the book " The act of Marriage" by Tim and Connie Dalay. I'm not sure how to spell the last name.It sounds like this Daa-lay.We go through different periods as we court, date, marry, children, work age etc...Sex is just that,Sex.One needs to understand "The act of Marriage"it is different than sex.dogs have sex But the act of Marriage is only for humans.Look into it.

We have highs and lows. That`s why they say marriage is hard work. Make time for each other, and its hard when you have a family and a stressful job. The hardest job you will ever have is being a wife. Don`t let that cold stop you! Go for it.

i think being caught up in day to day life with each other makes the sex drive go down....for some reason...i guess stress and all that... i can honestly say it has an ebb and flow to it...just make time for each other...that always puts me in a more lovey mood...it's hard to want to get it on when you see each other for like 3 hrs a day b/c of work and stupid crap like watching t.v.

For us it goes a bit up and down, but unfortunately it seems to be mostly on the down side.
Setting some time off for each other, just to relax together, I find makes it more tempting to do "other stuff" as well.

Yes and No! When you first meet someone you do less of other stuff to be with them. After you are together life catches up with you. Also a loaded diaper spoils the moment.
