i am a twin. my sisters name is chelsie and mine is lilly. I have a wonderfull guy for a boyfriend and my twin doesnt. if your thinking shes the smarter one or the dumber its not like those tv shows were both smart and beautiful. so why cant she get a date, or a phone number?

Twin or not twin smart or not beautiful or not you two are not exactly the same. No two people are exactly the same. You have your ways of doing things and she has hers. You have your dreams and desires and she has hers. You have a boyfriend because you wanted a boyfriend and were able to find a boy that you hit it off with. Your sister maybe says she wants a boyfriend and acts like she wants one but probably down deep she isnt really ready to have one and guys can sence that. You also cant possibly know how she is when she is alone with some one either. I have known girls that in front of the world they seemed to be so perfect and loving and friendly but then by chance I got to see how they were when they were alone with their old men. I doubt that is the case with your sister. I bet she just really isnt truly ready to really have a boyfriend or maybe she is just nervous or scared. When the time is right she will get one or who knows maybe two or three and then she can say 'guy i wonder why my sister cant get more than one boyfriend like me" Just because you have something or are doing something doesnt mean that she has to too. It doesnt make her less or you better either. Another thing you have to remember also is there arent all that many really wonderful guys in the world either when you are young since when they are young more than half still havent gained full control of their brains yet and thier little friend down below is what leads them around. You were lucky since you say your boyfriend is so wonderful so remember that , you were lucky. Once she finds the right one she too will have one. Dont push her or make her feel bad because all you are going to do is make her go out and take the first guy that comes along and will probably end up making her very unhappy and I dont think you want that to happen. Please dont make her feel bad or like she has to have a boyfriend , she has plenty of time. Now if by the time you two are in your mid 20's and she still doesnt have one then you might wonder why but other than that dont trip. Look at it this way since she doesnt have a boyfriend she is free and single to go out and do what ever she wants with out having to worry about making some guy jealous or mad, you on the other hand are stuck to the same one. Then again who knows maybe she has alot of phone numbers of guys but just doesnt tell you about it. You never know she just might have a secret lover that you dont know about and just plays it off that she doesnt have anyone. Everything has its time and place and shouldnt be rushed.

It's all about confidence. It seems like guys are more attracted to people with just the right amount of confidence (i.e. they believe in theirself without being conceited. Is it possible that she has too much or not enough confidence? You may be twins, but that doesn't mean you have the same attributes that are important in dating (approachability, friendliness, etc...).

Honestly I've found that it has a lot to do with self image. Guys can sense a girl's self confidence level. I've found that nobody will like me until I like me first. Maybe she needs to take some time to herself to figure out who she is...and what she has to offer someone. Being single is not the worst thing in the world. I have been single for 18 months...and I've found out more about myself and what I have to offer than any other time in my life. I feel that now I have a gift to offer to a special girl...where I wouldn't if I just kept hopping from date to date. Hope this helps... :).
