do they want a best friend? Being a best friend means always being there, liking a lot of the same things and giving of your self in my opinion. To me being strong is being more a leader or father figure even. I have always thought women just wanted a best friend in a husband but as I finding, they say one thing but mean another. Most the woman I have seen, stay with their husband or boyfriend who is a leader, man's man, opinionated and somewhat selfish -- not "best friendish" and tend to leave the ones that seem like they are the most compatible with. Am I way off base here?

Yeah, I know karma is a &^&*^ but this guy and I have really made a connection. I like him and I know he like me but on the other hand he was just "close friends" with my ex-best friend...I feel bad b/c it only started out as him and I being friends but now we are staring to get closer....to make it even worse he actually per posed to her 3 years ago..Im stuck b/c he is a really nice guy and we have so much in common but if my ex-best friend ever found out she would really be hurt....Im so confused, i haven’t talked to him in two days and now he thinks I don’t want to be with him anymore...plz help what should i do?

our is the love marriage & we completed 5 yrs of it. i know him since i was in school,everything was very fine earlier but now everything changes a lot. I feel lack of trust between us specially from my side b'coz i don't trust him completely as i do earlier before our marriage.I talk to him abt my feelings and everytime he says he loves me a lot.But how could i cope up with all ups and downs in my life.Is all this was the natural thing or my expectations were high from him.Why don't he also have the same feeling as i have for him or every man changes like this after marriage.

if I m single and she's married... I look at it this way - if it was not me, she would probably find someone else and still be cheating. I would not be mad at the guy if my wife cheated on me with him... If its not meant to be, it is not meant to be. What do you think?

My boyfriend is in his early 30s. He is from a neighboor country-but not too close to me. Our relationship kept going on for a year.It was serious, we were been talking about living together...and we didnt have serious problems
Last time we met, and when we were together, a girl (she works in same buidling with him)send him many sms, to which he didnt reply.
He told me that she had a crash on him but of course he is not interested in her!While he was telling this, she called.
I anserwed - but i didnt understand her talking ( we dont speak same language) and then I hung up..my boyfriend was there too. Sms kept on coming...
but he insists nothing's going on - she is simply fighting for him

I am confused
I am paniced
she is near him but I am far away
I am loosing him
and I dont know how to react

I really need a good advice here!

I am 16 years old... and I have been in Love with a guy, since I was 6! Now that the both of us are older, we talk alot, and go out together every once in a while. We are very close, but all he wants to be is friends. I respect him being honest with me, but I just don't know what to do. For the past couple of weeks, hes finally opened up and said "I Love You"... which I NEVER thought he'd say. Yet, I told myself I'd stick around and be there for him, hoping one day he'd realize what we have is real. Once he told me he Loved me, I was so happy, but we both had different intentions. Its as if we are boyfriend/girlfriend, but he tells me he doesn't know what he wants to do. I've been waiting for years.... and all I want is for us to be together. But it probably won't even happen. I'm suffering from serious VERBAL and EMOTIONAL abuse from him. What should I do??? I know I'm young... PLEASE I need ADVICE! Thanks!

If your girl friend talked to other guys –including her abusive ex- online and told them she loves them and wants to marry them and had cyber sex (no cam) with them at the time you are planning marriage, wedding and all, and telling them same words we tell each other, is this cheating? Would you break up with her? She apologized and said it was a huge mistake and blamed her abusive relationship with her ex and the bad experience then she said no, it was not cheating and I should not have read her personal chat.

All opinions are appreciated and girls' opinions are very important.

well i am going out with this guy and we never get to see each other okay and when i think about braking up with him it feels like a part of me is dieing. i love him so much but i want him to be with some one who can hold hads with him, cuddle with, hug, kiss touch him stuff i am not able to do. but he is the one i love and i am the one he loves. this is so so so hard. him and i feel like we are ment to be togther. but i don't want to let him go. should i or should i not? he's the one i love and its what ever is best i gess

I've decided to get a divorce from my husband. Some days are so hard and painful....and I wonder if I've made the right decision. It's scary thinking about the future. He cheated on me and was abusive....so I wasn't happy with him. But sometimes I doubt myself...and worry that I won't ever find true love. Anyone else felt this way?

Last night i went bed early because i was dropping alseep
because i was up uesterday morning at 6 and the time was 11 pm
i got in bed and fell alsleep
then my boyfriend came in the bed and starting touching me
and waking me up
and i said leave me alone
Then he just grabed me arm at the back of my back and made it hurt
the i told him to get off me he let go then i turn round to go back sleep because i had to get up early again
then he punched me in the back and pulled my hair
i am waiting for a phone call to move in to a bedsit

Me and my gf broke up about a month ago over an argument and i broke her heart when i promised her i whouldn't. I know it sounds stupid. But just the past Sunday we both attended dinner for a friends birthday, she asked me to take her home after the dinner. So I did. On the ride to her home we didn't talk much, she was changing the tracks on my cd. And she stopped on a track that we both agreed was our song, if you get what i mean.
