What is it you want to tell your good friend? That they were making out with some one of the same sex. I think they already know that . or that you saw them ? and in that case if they are a good friend you shouldnt have to tell them anything. thats their personal life. Now that you have seen this good friend making out with someone of the same sex have your feelings changed for this person? Has this person all of a sudden become someone different from before you saw them? Your good friend is still the same person they always were. If your good friend likes the same sex so what thats your friends personal choice. Look at it this way what if your friend caught you making out with a really skinny person and because your friend doesnt have a thing for super skinny people tells you that they saw you making out. WOuld it be any of your friends business who you wanted to make out with? No . What people do in their own personal lives is their own business. Just because you like the opposite sex doesnt mean your friend has to. I personally like only the opposite sex but what anyone else wants to like is their own business not mine. They are still the same person. As long as your good friend isnt trying to push their beliefs and likes on you I would say you should say nothing or just make a joke about maybe next time they could get a room somewhere instead of making out where the whole world can see them. Everyone on this planet is different and what one thinks is wrong is right for someone else. It is not hurting anyone or nor did it hurt anyone that your friend is gay. Lets say you like dogs and your friend hates dogs but loves cats and you hate cats. Does it matter? No . You are the one who has to take care of your dogs and your friend is the one that has to take car of the cats and as long as you dont have to take care of the cats your friend has the right to have as many cats as she or he wants. And same for you.

This has never happened to me, but if it ever did. If this was a good friend then I do not think there would be a problem approaching my friend and asking them about it.

I don't think it's any of your business really. It's their life right? will it affect your friendship? if so, just tell them what you saw, and that you aren't that way. and you feel weird being around them. if not, then drop it and leave it alone.

Why do you feel that it is necessary to tell them at all? What are you going to tell them? What would be your motivation?

I would pretend that I didn't know anything and wait until they are ready or wanted to tell me.

Why tell them? It's not your problem.

You could just remark that you didn't not know that they were interested in that side.
