My grndfolks have been married some 55 years! My other grandfolks, well my grandma is widowed and she stayed married untill my grandpa died of many things at age 76. They stayed together through thick and thin. Grandpa loved her sooo much! Even at the end of his life he took care of her financially and she is set if she does it right, for the rest of her life.
This is awesome and sets a wonderful legacy for all of us in the family. Yet todays woman younger, scare me. Divorce rates are soaring, at an all time high. well over 50% getting divorced these days and man, its like we treat marriage like buying a used car. It wares out so go get a new one. I mean we take something so deeply intimate and sacred and we cheapen it here in America.
Most men when they see a girl see sex. Me I see future generations of family comming from her. I see her years in the future when she's old and grey being so honared by family and a home filled with beautiful pictures of generations of her love.

I am so concerned about my lack of self esteem affecting my relationship. Now, I have been around through thick and thin for my girlfriend. I take her places, treat her like a queen, and take care of her and her daughter many times. My gf has a disability, so I do a lot of "little" things for her that she really appreciates. The BIG problem is that I really only have one close friend that I rarely see. I don't have much interaction with people at work, and I've had a hard life. It is so HARD for me to open up with her. I want to so badly, but there are times where we just sit in silence. I talked to her about this and she says she loves me and doesn't mind that I'm a "private" person. I keep thinking that this is going to turn into a problem eventually. I work full time and go to school part time, so it's difficult to take up hobbies. She talks about work a lot, but I usually don't have much commentary. Has anyone been through this problem and overcame? I love her.

I have been in a serious relationship for two years now. We both have caused each other some very serious pain, but both love each other enough to keep holding on. Lately it seems as though all we do is fight. The hardest thing to deal with is the cruelty...I know we love each other, but we are still just down right cruel to one another...saying things we know will cause pain to the other. I cannot imagine my future without him, but at the same time I cannot imagine a future like this. I am so confused and have no idea what to do...walk away or hope we can figure it out...

yep lately ive been feeling pretty good about my self..just one of those weeks when you feel great but in the back of my mind the fact that im only 5' is driving me insane lol. my family is italian and most italian girls are petite but over 5'. im attracted to guys who are 5'10 and taller and havent had that much trouble finding a guy but my ex did say he wished i was a little taller. i know everyguy has his own opinion but guys, why do u like petite girls? should i feel like crap because im only 5'?

I dont know what wrong with him. he wont say anything to me about what he feel, I can only guess. he wont touch me we have not had sex in 2 months, he been distance. I'm only 16 years old, and so far every guy I have ever dated has been in a band. My dad's a music producer, and I get to meet a lot of small-time bands as well as some of his bigger bands on his label. I can't seem to fall for normal guys, unless they're holding guitars or drumsticks. Is anyone else like this?

We had been together for 16 years now, We had had up and downs, but the last few weeks, he is alway mad about something, never smiles anymore unless he his talking to his best freind, It like he's not happy being at home with me and the kids, I cant see love in his eyes or feel it in his touch anymore, and when i ask why he alway comes up with something that has nothing to do with his home life, (work, kids,) I'm 31 years old now I dont wont to waste my life with someone who does not care anymore. I like this guy and we've been an unofficial thing since somtime early december. We really like each other and he tells me this often. I found out a few weeks ago he and his (crazy) ex girlfriend got into an argument and sleep together. I was very upset that he kinda "cheated" on me, and after much thinking and talking, i forgave him, saying this could never happen again. Last friday I found out they kissed the previous weekend. Once again, i was upset and after much talking and thinking, I forgave him. But I am having serious second thoughts. AM I making the right choice by staying with him?? HELP ME!

A friend gave me some left over favors she had and they are really cute- they are little watercolor sets that really work. And they have a little loop at the top of them. I am tying charms/favors to the bridesmaids packages so I though this would be cute for the guys. Me and my FI are both artist. I was trying to think if a little saying to write on them but I can only come up with something girlie like
