yep lately ive been feeling pretty good about my self..just one of those weeks when you feel great but in the back of my mind the fact that im only 5' is driving me insane lol. my family is italian and most italian girls are petite but over 5'. im attracted to guys who are 5'10 and taller and havent had that much trouble finding a guy but my ex did say he wished i was a little taller. i know everyguy has his own opinion but guys, why do u like petite girls? should i feel like crap because im only 5'?

Fact: You can worry all your life about your size but that won't make you any taller.
Therefore, stop worrying! Make the best use of it or learn to deal with seeing as there isn't quite anything you can do.
Obviously, you shouldn't feel like crap. There are plenty of girls that are petite and cute.

Hi, I live in Italy. There are a lot of tall Italian girls, but let's get back to you. Some guys like tall girls, but not all. Plus, I think if a guy really cares about you he won't care if you are 5'1" or 5'5" or 5'11 1/2". I think it was mean that your ex told you he wished you were a little taller...I would have told him I wished he had a bigger brain, but that's me (I can be pretty sarcastic when I'm mad).
P.S. Didn't your family ever teach you the Italian saying "botte piccola fa buon vino" (good wine comes in small barrels)??

im a girl and i just wanted to tell you that you're beautiful:) dont let your height get you down - just think what it must be like to really be a "little person". Thank the heavens for the bit of height you do have and girl, use that petiteness to your advantage ... a lot of guys LOVE petite girls - because they are so small. And maybe a guy who's 5'7" won't be so bad as compared to a 5'10" guy ... try it out - you may like it:)

But I have a similar issue. I am 5'9. and there are some guys that Love tall girls, and others like "small" girls.
some guys LOVE that waif/little girl petite looks, others like the curvy J-lo look, and others like a sporty type girl. I have know guys that don't care either way about the "package" but the contents of the brain and persoanality......
To each his own I guess. The perfect guy will love everything about you- your size included. My dad is 6'4 and my mom is 5'7...and they don't think it is a big deal, so if you like a guy that is 5-12 inches taller, it really shouldn't matter---- and if it bothers a guy that you are that short- than he is probably not for you.

Hey Im only 4 ft 10. No Im not a "little person" but anyway my boyfriend thinks its real cute and he is 5'10. It does suck you cant find pants and clothes and stuff that fit you just right. We were all created differently for a reason. It's alright to be small. It's cute. And since your so small people will probably always tell you you look young when they see you even when your 50. It has its avantages. You just have to find them. Plus a lot of guys like smaller women they dont want to be shorter then their gfs.

Absolutely NOT! DO NOT feel like crap because you are 5'! I feel that the girl is more important than physical features, above all else. I've dated plus-sized and/or vertically challenged girls, and I feel none the worse for that aspect of having done so! So if your guy says he won't have you because you are too short, you now know you don't want him. I have a saying, and I think it is an absolute truth; to the people who matter, it won't matter.

I dont think guys really care what hieght a girl is unless she is taller than him. Every girl is different but height has never been an issue with me or friends. I like petite girls myself but a taller chick is cool too. If a chix hot she's hot.

Well I am 5' 8" tall and like all kinds of women short or tall. But your shouldn't worry about how tall you are just that you be yourself and be honest with your self and not worry what other people say. Some people are just jealous. But been 5' is tall enough for any onead don't worry I bet your beautiful too. And your bf was stupid for saying what he did. Besides been selfish he was stupid. SO don't fret , your tall enough

I rele like petite girls because they are just so adorable. Love is all about holding that person and sharing your warmth. You can do that with a pretty petite girl.

NO, your ex should feel like crap for not accepting you as you are. If you're an adult now you won't get any taller so people (including you) are going to have to just deal with it.
