Sounds as if he wants a one-way commitment from you. He doesn't want anyone else to have you but he may not be ready to commit to you. Ask him this question; change the wording to "You tell me to..(etc.)" and it's perfect. Guys don't usually expect girls to come out and ask a question like that, you might startle him into an honest answer!

This is really simple....you need to move on.
If he can't vocalize his feelings for you but expects you to tell people that you two are an item...he only wants you for one reason and he doesn't want any one else to have you.
