well, umm, i just moved with my dad because my real mom use to abuse me all the time and i was tired of it so i told my dad. me and him never really communicated so i was very sad because i really missed my mom. she was everything to me even if she abused me. my father was never there for me untill i needed help. i was a nerd at my old school, here, where i live now, i beame pretty popular. i was a gangster @ skool because everyone told me to be a gangster and i thought it was pretty kool. then, my dad started to yell at me and i decided to stop khuz i wanted to make him happy. well the i was very sad khuz everyone was picking on me @ skool and then i became emo. i started to slah my wrists. and my dad sooner found out. so i decided to be prep. now i have no clue who i am

There's this guy that I really like. I have for a while now. We go to the movies in a group of friends all the time. Well yesterday I called him to ask him if he wanted to go to the movies, & he said he was already going to the movies with a friend from work. So, I went out to the movies with a bunch of other friends and had fun. Well today I called him, to see if he wanted to hang out, and after he said "hello", I was like "What's up?", and he said that he was at the movies. So I assumed that ment that he couldn't talk, & said "I'll talk to you later. Should I still call him in a hour or so to see if he wants to hang out tonight? We probably wouldn't do much, besides hang out at his house and play video games, or go out to dinner, but I would still like to hang out with him, so what should I do? I don't want to bother him, by calling him, if he is busy with other friends. We usually hang out every weekend anyways, so it wouldn't be unusual...help please. What do u think?

He lost her less than a year ago and he was extremely close to her. this was his first xmas without her...his first bday without and so on. i really feel sympathy for him but i can't empathize with him b/c i have never lost anyone close to me. we have started to spend less time together b/c he has started to work longer hrs and 6 days/wk. i have xpressed my concerns with us not spnding time togther anymore but i really feel he is grieving still and don't want to put any addd stress on him how can i help him/hlp our relationship continue to grow ( we've been dating for 6 months now and his mother passed away Mar 2006)

I moved in with my boyfriend 3 months ago while I look for a job. He has hardly been around the past 3 weeks and it it emotionally draining. He gets mad when I talk about how I am feeling and how he is mean to me. He even said that he doesn't know why I am so emotional because I have always been the strong one.

I told him that I give up, and he told me to hang on. Then when I told him that I wanted to take a job in another state, he told me "do what you want" and that would be the end of us.

Over the past 2 years, I have given up everything to be with this man. I am living in his apartment, yet he is hardly ever here. I am at a loss because when he is nice, there is no one who is better than him. He can be caring, romantic, and I enjoy being with him.

He's been unemployed for over a year, he has broken a window, a door, put numerous holes in the wall, last week he pointed a loaded gun at me and shot it into the ceiling. I also recently found evidence that he was cheating on me with an obese woman. He's the father of my child, he has no money, he has nowhere to go if I kick him out. I don't know what to do. So i go to a really big school. When i first went there i knew NOBODY! and now i know a few kids but no one that I would hang out with and just have a blast. I met some kewl girls i hung out with for a month or so, then they had a whole bunch of problems and stopped talking to me and stuff, when they were the ones to first ask me if i wanted to hang out with them.

So I dont know how to meet new people or find anyone to connect with! the school is just so big. At lunch I usually go to the library and just work on my homework but it just gets boring after a while. Have any suggestions how to meet so good solid friends?
Its frustrating because Im a really nice person and everyone is just rude to me. I cant go to the library anymore for varius reasons so I just go out front like if i was getting picked up or something cuz i dont want to just go sit on a bench by myself.

Ok! So I HAD a friend that said something very stupid and disturbing to me. Stupid because my experience in this arena says NO. Disturbing, because I cant believe someone with a college education can be so "lacking".
Anyway this is the story: A previous friend of mine, she wanted to take an AIDS test because she did not receive one in a while. So she tells me she's scared to take it because potential employer's often check into people's medical history and find FREQUENT TESTING, a liability (she meant they wont hire you if the company, while screening you, notices frequent blood work, etc). She even provided a source (a guy friend she had told HER that he didnt get hired because he had frequent testing)
I only worked in HR for 2 years, but within that time, I have never heard of anything more ludacrous than this. I explained to her if that was the case (with her friend) that he could have sued the company for some kind of discrimination.
What do you think of this?

All my life I've played the epitome of the "nice guy." Helped the ladies when they needed help, complimented them, opened doors, etc... Where'd it got me: NOWHERE.
So I got sick of it, did the opposite, and just started acting like a jerk to any woman I could find. I make fun of their hair and taste in clothes, tease them about their friends, and pretend they are even lucky I'm paying attention to them. This is basically what I do to my guy friends.
They pretend like they are mad, but they absolutely love it. This has worked (for me) for any woman for the past 2 years regardless of age or body type. If it really annoyed them then they wouldn't stick around. Note: I still treat them with the utmost respect- I just bust on them.

So for all the talk women do about wanting "nice guys," it's not what they really want. So why don't you ladies just admit it? It'd save guys trouble and save you the time weeding through the bad eggs to find the spoilt one.
Like they say, nice guys finish last.

This boy was my first proper realtionship, it lastest three months wich may not seem a long time but in those three months I gave him everthing and constantly tried to please him. I loved this boy so much and was absolutley devestated when he broke up with me on the phone and gave me no explantion. So anyway i cry, get angry the usual ect. and then i move on get a new realtionship but that ends fast as i know im still in love with my ex. Dure in the whole time after the break up (even whilst i was dating the new boy) he played mind games with me through text and msn getting my hopes thinking he was going to ask for me back and makeing me sound pathetic by grovelling to him. In the end i read up on this and decided it wasnt the right way to get him back so i blocked and deleted him on msn, deleted his number and egnored him. soon enough he came back to me and asked me back out. Everything was great but then today he ended it again with no explanation. I love him but should i forget him?

I'm an Indian guy 17 years old. I am born in Canada so I do not speak my mother tongue and have no accent or anything.
my parents want me to be more connected to my heritage.
I couldn't give a **** about my heritage.
They want me to go on to college and go into medical college and marry some orphan Indian girl just so they don't have to deal with the brides parents ya dig?

I want to get an ESL certificate and start teaching in china and find a nice Chinese girl and then possibly stay there and never see my parents again.

I lived my life and so far I hate most of the Indian girls I've met and all the Chinese girls I met I felt like I was in love with every single one because they were all so nice to me and stuff. I'm not to fond of American born Chinese.

so should I?
listen to my parents and go to medical college and marry some Indian woman and be miserable

or

find a Chinese girl and maybe get another job if I can marry her
and live a happy life but never ever see my parents again.

He works tues - sat. from 8am-5:30pm.He goes to school Mon- thurs from 6-10pm. I work from 3pm-11:30 mon- fri. Sunday is the only day that we have for each other. Other than that we only catch up with each other in the morning when he's leaving and at night when I get off.Most of the time he's already asleep . Sometimes I get really lonely. I need companionship.I love him to death. Once a week is not enough for me. Sometimes I feel like cheating but I never do.I need some advice or an opinion.
