Growing up, my parents were telling me and my brothers there is no money for laxtury. I never had new clothes toys or books. I was told those items are expensive,
When I was a teen ager, I started working as a babysitter and my parents took my earnings. Over the years I realized that my parents live well, go abroad on vacations, go out to restaurants. Basically, the money issue was brought up only when it came to buying 'un-necessary' items for the kids.

Years later when we were already grownup my father's business calapsed and my parents had to sell their nice home.
I have a nice career and a good pay check. Now they come to me asking for financial help. I give them a few hundered dollars here and there, but, I regret it in my heart, because I feel it is so unfair that they are coming to me for help. On the other hand, I feel really bad if they ask for money and I say no. Is there any good way to say no and feel ok with it?

I am married and I have this guy friend that I am interested in. He has made it clear that he is into me a well. I do talk to him frequently on the phone and I know that I can have him whenever and he is willing to share. I've entertained the thought in my head but nothing physical has happened. My husband has no idea and I know he would be upset if he did. Even though we only talk on the phone, am I cheating?

what do u think i should do??
i mean he has another gf n i thought i am over him so i have other bf....

but i m realising i still like him better than my bf and i feel he likes me too despite the fact he has a gf...
and i am sure about it that he is not at all seriou about his girlfriend as he has said it to everyone including her!!
And both of us still dont know why we two broke up...
both of us thought that the other wants a breakup and so the relationship went off poof..without any reason

i like my ex to bits. but now part of me thinks i dont wanna be with her and part of me misses her. part of me doesnt wanna meet her or txt or ring her and part of me does. i dont know what to do any more. my ex finished with me 5 weeks ago. she says to me she really likes me, has got feelings for me and wants to be with me but for now can only give me friendship. i wa ssupposed to meet my ex on valentines day and i turned her down and then we argued and reaaranged for yesterday night. when i met her i showed little intrest in her compared to usual. i used to txt and ring her alot but not any more. usually in the cinema i grab her hand an tiggle her leg but this time i did nothing kept my hand 2 my self. so instead she kept on grabbing my hand tiggling my leg and even tried coming in for a kiss and i moved away quick she come in for a kiss after a long time i was suprised. what do i do? can i get her back cos i kinda like her to bits i would love to be with her help please

Hey me and my fiance broke up. I wanted to get back the ring. It was a long distance relationship and she stayed in memphis. The nex day I met a new chick and in the same day we had sex. I was really feeling her. She stayed the night at my place. I still had my hotel reservations in Memphis so I took the new chick up there with me. I met up with my ex fiance to get back the ring (w/o the new chick with me). She didnt give it back so i said oh well. I went back to the hotel with my new woman and we had sex all day and night. We went shopping in Memphis too. My ex fiance didnt know about the chick. She then started telling me how she got other men anyway and all this crap so I got mad and sent a picture of me and the new chick together in Memphis in a picture message to her. She got mad. Me and the new one are still together and we got married after like four months. I have no doubts about us. I just think this is funny story and I would like to hear some opinions.

i've been seeing this guy for a while now and we get into arguments every now and then. i actually started noticing a pattern when we fight... the last argument we had was when he was supposed to go on my x-mas cruiz with me but didn't show up. i figured hey i guess he really didn't wqant to be around me and that we weren't going to talk again. later down the line he called me and like a dumby i kept the flow going.. valentines day just passed and on that same morning we got into another fight where we didn't talk for that whole day, but he called the ay after. i'm thinking every time something important comes around he chooses to argue with me just so he don't have to go through the process, do you think so or am i just paranoid?

We're over 25.

He was out of state for V-day working and was supposed to get in that night around 11:00. I wouldn't see him until the day after. I called him on the 15th, but got his voice mail

I finally got in touch with him late yesterday evening (the 15th). He was 45 mins away @ his parent's house. He wasn't planning on coming to our city anytime soon and didn't seem to want to talk. He didn't even have the decency to call and let me know he was in the state.

I made a gift basket with local stuff and the most expensive part purchsed online. I had plans to make him a romantic lunch and even baked him cookies @ 5am yesterday.

I went to a garage sale and found him 2 very nice pieces of furniture.

Now, with him being suddenly so stand-offish, I don't even want to be around him. I just want to give him the furniture and put him out of my life. I don't want give him his v-day gift or lunch because I don't "love" him at the moment.

Am I justified in my feelings?

I have heard men conversation that there in a commited relationship and they will wait for there girlfriend because they love her and wouldn't leave her. But because they want the physical sex they use other woman. Is that right? If I hold back sex before I fall in love will the guy I date have sex elsewhere but still want to be with me lovely. Do you think that a is just plain out dumb when he purposes to a girl that he HARDLY knows...like he just meet her, DOESN'T know absolutely NOTHING about her, dates her, still DON'T know her for like 4 months...asks her to marry him...

*in my opinion, i think its plain out stupid! Not hardly knowing eachother and then getting married...you can have a Bad marriage. I'd give it a year, till "they" get divorced. Maybe 2 IF they are lucky.

I broke up with my boyfriend about a month ago. (we were together for 4 years) He wants me to go to a counceler with him and I don't think I want to go. Everything I say to him he reads "between the lines", I told him in a letter that I wished thigs could have been perfect between us,but i can't go back on the choices I have made.I keep telling him that I don't want to be with him anymore. He is starting to freak me out a little.He is at a friends house crying all the time now and he wants to come and see me but they distract him.
He apparently tried to kill himself a few weeks ago(he told a friend in one of his crying fits) I am worried about him and I don't want to see him hurt himself. But he dosen't understand that I don't want to be his g/f anymore.He wants me to marry him and gave me the ring (which he has had for months,gave it few days after I ended it) he was going to give it to me on feb 14.I want to be friends with him but he is starting to freak me out, what should I do?

Yeah I have fallen for this guy. I cant tell if hes just friendly or wants more. Anyway heres signs he gives me. Hes shy but very comfortable around me, talks to me, looks me in the eyes when he talks to me. I catch him staring at me and when I do we make eye contact. When he sees me he comes up and talks to me right away or sometimes he just walks by if I'm talking to someone else and looks at me. He jokes around with me and teases me playfully. I moving to West Virginina the panhandle area about 1 hour from D.C in a short time and i'm from Minnesota.My husband comes from West Virginina and I came from Minnesota and we met in the Army.
I would like to find groups,classes, around the area like scrapbooking,parenting classes,Yogi,good gyms to work out at,cooking classes.
Back at home theirs ALOT to do and since I don't know the area and my husband can't answer all my questions.I'm a little scaried to live an entirely different place then what i'm used to.
But the good side is we willn't be living in boring kansas YEAH!!No offense but this place I would go crazy in and hopefully West Virginina will be way better :)
One thing I will miss is lots of snow and ice fishing :(
I would like to know what is the best places to live,work,play and my children to grow with lots of fun things to do?I hope to give my children the best options to expand in their interests,different cultures and experiences.

My boyfriend is 19 years old. It's not the first time this has happened to him. He stole his IRS tax refund, and his previous paychecks before him. His father has stolen cash out of his wallet from him, and deems it nessicary due to him paying his tuition for high school. (It's his last year. Please no harsh words about that.) He works his butt off and he deserves his money, but his dad is so threatening, he's afraid to challange him. (Believe me, he's violent.) He does it all when he is asleep. What can he do? I have been with my boyfriend for 7 months ( we have been good friends for 4 years) Im 30, hes 25. I love him a lot but I am going through this 'smothering' phase.
