I know it is tacky to host our own, but other members of the wedding party think it's a great idea. We would pool our money together, reserve VIP area at a nightclub and throw a big pre-wedding bash on the Thursday night before the weekend wedding. This would take place of all bachelor and bachelorette parties, engagement party, etc. We just want a fun fun party that everyone who will attend the wedding (OOTowners especially), can get together and party casually.

Is this a bad idea? Is it a bad idea to include the wedding party in party planning (specifically financially) since we don't want any other parties thrown for us? Please help, b/c I really want to pursue this idea.

Why is it when you find a good girl that has everything going for her self. like a good job. is going to school. Pays all of her bills. is sweet, funny, good looking, and would do nice things for you, and even give you great sex. why oh why do you guys act like you don’t care. or why oh why do you guys act like you are not interested. and why do you guys play games. and when that girl just gives up on you after you didn’t treat her right why then you guys try to get her back and then its to late.

ok, so one of my guy friends ("micheal") likes my friend Pendah... a LOT. seriously. he always tries to get up the courage to go talk to her, but he never actually does it.

Pendah's really oblivious though, and has NO IDEA that he liks her!! i don't know what to do! I think Pendah may like "micheal" too, but she'd never admit it (in fact, she accuses HIM of liking ME!)... help!!

also, please answer this question fast, pendah is a member of yahoo answers and im afraid she'll see it.

I have 4 Sisters and I'm the only son and live nearly 300 miles from my Mother. She is 77 and befriends troubled people and drug addicts. Some have even taught her how to shoot her pain medications like Heroine into her veins. Now she is selling her (Dilaudid, Xanax and Morphine Patches) meds and I'm worried she may eventually get assaulted, robbed or even murdered.

I've confronted her before about her drug use that is supposed to be for pain, but, she is hard-headed and very difficult. I am a Disabled Veteran with a bad heart and M.S., and a Spinal Cord injury, and it causes me a lot of stress over this, but, I'm not sure what to do.

I know my Mother could be busted by the Law, and she could even be committed under an intervention, but, then she plays the Suicide Card. I feel trapped and damned if I do something and damned if I don't.

I could really use and appreciate some thoughtful feedback on this! Has anyone out there been in this position before? HELP!

Ive been dating this guy (im 20,hes 24)for about a month and a half.I am really attached to him now, and I am starting to get VERY jealous feelings.He's not the best looking guy, but hes very outgoing and friendly.He lives in a diff. city than I do,so I dont know his friends very well.i get very angry whenevr I see him talking to or hugging another girl. I understand that they are his friends from high school,but it still bugs me(and no hes not the player type).I had a talk with him last week about this and he said he respected me telling him that and he would "take care of it".Well,last night we went out to a bar where he livesHe was doing the same thing that i asked him not to and he said that its harmlessHe also kept telling me Ishould pay more attention to him.I went to the bathroom and when I came out there was a girl all over him so I freaked out. He got really mad and said I embarassed him.I asked him what he want to do about "us" he said whatever makes me happy.What do u think?

I have never talked to this guy in person,he goes to my college
I sent him a couple of weird emails about three years ago, and he replied right away to the first two, but then he never replied to thethird one ....
in those emails, i didnt tell him i like him or anything ..
but how do i move on?? i am guessing he will be graduating in May, I have been feeling really dead inside. For past 4 years, i have lived with the hope of seeing him around even if i dont see him everyday, now i dont know what to do ....
I dont necessarily think I want to be in a relationship with him, because we are quite opposite, but I really wanted to be friends with him...
he stares at me ALL THE TIME.. and when I catch him looking, he usually looks away now, but earlier he wouldnt even look away... the staring pattern has been going for past 4 years too
I have seen psychiatrists and counselors regarding it, and I also meditate . I have tons of hobbies, I dont know what else I could do to keep myself occupied

he calls me daily&we both talk for hours.
he has told me casually that he likes my company very much and that friends like me are very rare to find.
he even comes to school when he has no class just to meet me.he really finds me cute.he even asked many times what i would be doing on valentines day.
he knows i had a crush on his best friend and he listened to all of it quite nicely.
we have talked a lot abt our futureand he would tell me how he would care for his would-be-wife.and he would also prove that he has the qualities what i look for in a guy
i really felt he liked me

Although I never planned it this way, I have fallen in love with a man nearly 28 years older than myself. He already has two children (one older than I!), but he has asked me to marry him. She was the first girl that I ever loved deeply. And she cheated on me. After she did that... she told me that she felt reali bad and she will not be with anyone else...and just wait for me to return when Im ready. I took a big blow...unstable emotionally still today(been a year)...and she hasd lie to me constantly even after she cheated on me. I realllly like this girl and We have hung out a couple of times and talked on the phone a couple of days ago, and I sent some flowers to her school on valentines day to show her that I really like her, she called me up later that night and said thank you and then we talked on the phone for like 20 more minutes. Then yesterday she called me 2 or 3 times but I didn't answer her calls because I was busy and I left my cell phone in my car when she did call. I tried calling her back later but her parents said she moved out of the house and she went to her friends house, I think she called me from her friends house but her number was listed as a private #. Should I call her later today? or do you think she will call me back?? I just hope she dosen't think that because I didn't answer her calls that she won't call again but she might think that I don't like her or that I was ignoring her or something, I hope i'm just being paranoid but what do you think??

"He" being my ex, but as I mentioned in a previous question, he recently sent me a Valentines Day card where he signed it "lots of love" and the card itself (what was printed on it by the card company) read "Happy Valentines Day with Love." He also said in the card that he would be thinking about me on Valentines Day and misses me "loads." This is more than he ever did when we were dating (we broke up 7 months ago. I'm in America and he's in Ireland).

We have been married 10 years and have 3 children...
He is taking 2 of them, but dropping them off with his mother, so he can go to a friend's and jam...
I will be stuck here 250 miles away with my 2 year old... My mom can babysit. Should I go out with my sister and have a drink and see a good band?

I have no intentions on cheating, I have been FAITHFULLY MARRIED...
He hasn't though.
I feel like I am being walked all over yet when I try to express my hurt to him, he acts like he has ADD and ignores it. And turns it around on me saying I am nagging him....
He says he loves me, but this is pretty routine.

Ok well i really like this guy. Last year we were good friends and then he like me a lot and asked me out i stupidly said yes even though i wasnt really feeling him so obviously that relationship didnt last too long. The thing that sucks is now i really really like him but what sucks is that we've grown apart some much a hardly even talk i mean sometimes ill say hey or ill talk to him online but nothing ever seems to flow. Me and my husband have been married for 18 years and have two children together. I caught him a few years ago E-Mailing his first love.
