Factor 1 - You are stressed of the whole weeks work
Factor 2 - You look forward in excitement to the weekend that you hope for so you wish you can pull the time.
Factor 3 - Your brain is stressed to think so much of all of these.
Factor 4 - Your biological clock is marked with Friday afternoon as the end of all these stress.

I usually take care of that by going in to work really late on friday, taking a three hour lunch break, and then heading out early. It's amazing that I'm even sitting at my computer to answer this question, actually.

Tell me about it. I swear fridays have more hours consisting in the day then any other day. And sunday is the fastest day of the week. Fridays are always SO boring and slow and aggravating. But friday nights go by so fast. Why is it? hummmmmmmm......Good question

Because unlike all the other days of the week that are perfectly round, Friday is oval, like an egg.

LOL because you're hoping that it's already weekend and you keep on counting the days off. That's why it takes so long. Try to live without counting days up to Friday and see what happens. :)

Cuz you're thinking about the weekend instead of living in the cruel moment after a long week.

because the work load is usually lighter and that makes the day drag on... Also because you are looking foward to the weekend... You could also ask why are Sundays so boring.

You really need to learn to stay present with the moment.
It is your perception, and you need to alter it so that you make the most of it.
This time will pass no matter what you do, so it's all your choice what you do with it, and how.
