my g/f and i have been dating for about 4 and a half yrs, she's 29, im 22 and a half. About 2 weeks ago she informed me that she was preg and will be keeping the baby. she was on the pill the whole time we were dating (allegedly) so i never used a condom or any other type of birth control. i have a few reasons why i think she got preg on purpose the main one being that i ran into a friend of hers yesterday who congratulated me and said she was happy for us b/c "she knew how much my g/f wanted a baby" which was news to me! i just graduated from college and have a good job now and my g/f has been out of college for 7 yrs so financially this isnt a problem, i just am in no way ready to be a dad b/c of the huge change that bringing a child into the world will have on someone's life. just a few month ago she and i were talking about how neither one of us is ready for marriage yet so that isnt an option. on top of this, my mom is gonna kill me! any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanx.

I'm in a bind. I have been married for 13 months. My wife recently left me for some guy she works with. Here's the real problem; when I met my wife, she was pregnant. We had a great relationship, regardless of the fact that she was carrying another man's child. I took care of my wife to the fullest, making sure she never missed doctor's appointments, was fed, and was comfortable. I even chose the babies name. Her real father hasn't ever even seen her and she's almost two. Anyway, when the baby came, I stood by her side and gave the baby my last name. I thought it would be nice for her to have my last name since her mother and I were to be married. I grew very attached to "my daughter" and things looked good. Then my wife decided she was fed up with me and left, taking "my daughter" with her. We still see each other occasionally and now she is getting mad because I don't know if I want to be responsible for a child that isn't mine. I really don't know what to do. Help?

In my divorce agreement, I allowed my ex-husband to keep any possessions we had because they meant nothing to me, as they were odd things that were picked up through the years, and furniture & dishes that I could easily replace. I live 1300 miles away from him in another state. The agreement did state however, that he was return to me all my personal mementos, such as diaries, poems, letters from my family, and half of my children's photos (and all photos of my side of the family), and half of my children's artwork/schoolwork (that I alone was saving), as well as anything that was uniquely mine (gifts given to me). To date, he has only given me a few small trinkets, and I threw those things away. I have custody of our kids, & I think he is keeping these things to have control. He works, but at a low-paying job & he is on public assistance. Suing him will likely do no good. Pulverizing him is not an option. Anyone successfully retrieved their possessions from a psycho?

im 16 and have a crush on a guy who is in a relationship and who simply considers me as the girl with whom he has two lectures per week and with whom he exchanges a couple of words.

it has been going for a couple of months. i tried to ignore it and HIM. i dont want to be the cause that he breaks up with his gf who seems rly nice, im not worth him, i do not know him enough, i might simply have an infatuation.

its just that this whole ive been dreaming abt him and feeling smthing i never felt before like smthin swelling and nice, i dont know how to explain. im astonished cos im not a social person and usual dont have any strong feelings for anyone. its just nice to have him pat me on the head, and play with my hair and grab me by the waist.

What should i do? i dont what him to know cos im afraid it will ruin d little relationship we have.

One of my best friends is close to this girl that I hate because she messed around with my ex. She talks to her and I used to say it doens't bother me but it really does. Like this New Year's I asked her if she wanted to go out and she told me that she was going to stay home with her daugther, which is great but then she showed up at the place we were at with he, then she came up to me and was all nice like if she knew I was pissed she was there. And she KNEW I was going to be there

The divorce rates are almost up to 50%. So, why risk it? Why not just live together without getting hitched. That way, if anything should happen, you can just leave. You don't have to go through the divorce torment. It's much easier that way.

I've been w/ my bf for a really long time, i love him & he loves me. I do want to spend the rest of my life with him, but don't want to go about it any time soon... (I'm not quite finished w/ college yet). I havent discussed this w/ him cuz i dunno if he feels the same way and wants to spend the rest of his life with me ?? Except he'll throw out lil hints like when we're arguing, one time I said "thanks for putting up w/ me lol" N he said "yeah, I don't have to do that untill we're married" then another time he pointed at this jeep he really liked N said "I'm gunna buy that for you when we get married." ...... Now does it sound like he's just joking or he might be hinting at being serious.??

I have a sister that I have helped out over and over again and she always lets me down. The last incedent with her i decided to cut her off and I haven't really talked to her in a long time. Now I need some help and my mother suggested that I call my sister because she could help me out with my situation. I don't want to ask her because I feel that it would be wrong to call her after I have cut her off and have ignored some of her calls for 2 years. DO you think it is my pride or me trying not to be wrong?

I am a very social person, but recently upon self-reflection as my wedding is coming up in about 2 years-- I realized I don't have a set of close girls who I would pick absolutely as my bridesmaids or that one special girl to be my maid of honor... I'm a college student, and my best friend from high school lives 2000 miles away and I haven't seen her since I graduated high school... We keep in touch through many things, but I want to get back in touch with her again... My friends here in college are all about equidistant from me-- no REAL CLOSE heart friends-- just a lot of friendly girls who will giggle and hang out and sometimes cry together. Please give me some advice, any advice. Thanks!

My cousin is marrying this guy because she is pregnant and because his mom is pushing for it. I know she doesn't really love him and I am trying to talk her out of it, but she is all about the traditional family, woman marring the father of her child and all that. I don't want her to end up miserable for the rest of her life. Should I keep trying to talk some sense into her fool head or should I butt out? How can I support her if I don't agree with what she is doing?
