Try 70's funky music, thats all abouy joy, The Beatles are good for cheering me up, also I find that just songs that are good that dont mention love do the trick. Make a compilation CD for yourself and listen to it around. Good Luck.

Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Slow parts, fast parts, speaks of freedom and independence and the strength of one's character. Plus it has one of the best guitar solos ever. 8+ minutes of rocking, Southern Rock style!

I had a couple of songs that I played over and over again when I broke up with my ex.
Both are from Faith Hill.
"Free" And "Cry". I especially loved the "cry" one. I sang my heart out to it. Both are upbeat songs. It helped me out a lot!
