I think that to avoid other people, you should start flirting with someone else or get a boy/girlfriend. to keep them as a friend, maybe make your bf/gf friends with them.

You can never really be sure that they are flirting with you.. try and get some sources that say they do ike you before you start avoiding them.

talk about other girls around her. if she knows you like someone she'll get the idea that you dont like her. but some girls just flirt with everyone. so are you sure she likes you or is that just her personality
