Okay I need help choosing which present to get my girlfriend for her birthday/valentines preasent.

Her birthday is the 11th and we all know Valentines day is the 14th. So i figured i can put both days into one preasent. Also the 9th is out six month ann. so i want to get her something specail to show her I love her.

My best friend's wedding has been called off twice by her finace' since he "proposed" to her in September (wedding date was April 21st). During the second call-off, my friend canceled everything and got her money back and the fiance's mother kept her engagement ring just in case they got back together. They are now getting back together for the second time and are planning a completely different wedding. The guy's mother talked to me about it and said she would give the ring to him and get him to propose in a better way (the first time he basically just gave her the ring without saying anything while she was on the phone with his brother) like the whole romantic down-on-one-knee thing. However, he's treated her horribly in the past (cheating on her, ignoring her...) and I really don't like him. I've told her about the things he's done but she refuses to believe any of it. Since she won't listen to me and I've given up on helping her see his true side, [question above] for him to use?

i am having very much difficulties trusting my bf. he tries to regain it but he has lied to me so much in the past. everytime he is late getting home or even when he says hes going somewhere, i get very upset how can i get pass this. how can i concentrate more on my life instead of a man who has hurt my feelings. i want my self esteem to come back. i feel like a loser sometimes for have let someone get away with treating me like this. now that he is somewhat trying, he is catching hell by doing so. what do you think?

I live in Chicago and Ive searched all over the internet. Ive found some but they dont look modern. I want beautiful dresses but I havent been able to find the right ones for my wedding in Septemeber. Its only like 7 months away. Im on a budget so either I rent a beautiful and modern dress or buy a cheaper beautiful modern dress. I know beggers cant be choosers but I am desperate but at the same time I want what I want ya know. Well Id love it if somebody gave my advice on where to go. Im willing to travel away from Chicago (not to another state or anything) if thats what it takes to get a great dress. Really I know for sure I want to have great rental dresses for my maids (can be like cocktail dresses also) but if someone helps me find a discount dream dress then I can buy my gown. Just suggestions can help. Thanks

i turn 26 next saturday and until then i've spent my birthdays at home but i want to do something different and go out with my mates. the thing is, and generally speaking, i would say i am not the partying type of person, i don't drink alcohol and i don't want to stay up until very late in the evening and early hours of sunday morning. it'll make a nice change to go out to a club, but it'll cost me a few bob to get in, though i must stress that i haven't been out clubbing before and i would worry about my safety. particuarly when it comes to getting the bus home during the night. therefore, any ideas? no stupid suggestions by the way

grrrrrr =[i hate it so much.my mom is soo strict,she doesnt let me do anything. I cant hang out often. but when i do - she asks me bunch of questions and stuff after i get home.and i have to sitt with her like for and hour and explain her everything. explain her where i was and what i did.she doesnt believe me what i say. never.so when i tell her something, she is being so dumb and asks the same question all over again. what the hell im allmost 16!!!
i cant dat, wear make -up, or do any other stuff what other normal teens do. but i do wear make up and have had bf, without letting her know.i hate my life so much.i dont know what to do.all i do is wrong for her.and she thinks im a baby.i have convos with her about that im not a baby anymore and blahh i need more freedom and all that.but she doesnt listen to me.grrrrr she says i can do whatever i want after 21..she acts like im her litttle daughter. grr

I was reading a magazine artical that "Most" people that happen to run into their first loves later in life actually stiil see them the same way as when they last met, Example: like if a guy loved you in high school and you met up a grocery store 15 yrs later that in his mind he doesn't notice that you may be overweight, or wrinkled. Or a woman may not notice that he is balding and worn looking. They say it only refers to people that were in love, not just casual aquaintances is that true for you?

Well i was talking to this guy and he kept on askin me if i liked this other guy and I told him no, why do you ask and he totaly just ignored that question and began talkin about somethin else. He has done this before. And he always just seems to be around you know like he ask the most stupidest questions it almost seems like hes trying to find exuses to talk to me?

eg

He had his mp3 with him and was listin to it but he still asked me if he can borrow mine even though he was listin to his mp3.

He begged to move in lockers with me and said he would do anything?

He keeps askin me if i like this other guy?

He totaly stoped talkin to me when i started talkin about this other guy?

He was acting really flirtatious the other day but i kinda regected him and then he says he was jokin (this thing that he said he said was a joke, and it was really dirty)

While all of this is going on im thinkin does he like me or somethin cus he seems so desprete to talk to me.
