Don't try to impress boys, hon. Knowing that he likes this girl, flirt but not a lot. Just drop little hints that you like him. When you walk by him, say hi to him or smile.

It really doesn't matter that he is one year older ,the best advice i can give you is to be your self and play hard to get the last thing boys like is a fake pushy girl,well at least guys with a brain .
get your friends and walk past him at school don't make allot of eye contact and be fashionable but not slutty.
