What is your dream wedding?

If money was no option, how would you plan it?

a beautiful medieval wedding in Eilean Doanan castle in Scotland (it's on loch ness!!) a tour of the whole uk and ireland for a honeymoon, including stays in castles and cute B&B's. and i could have any dress i wanted (not like i can make up my mind any way...but....) and it'd be very memorable and romantic, with lots pf celtic traditions (we both have celtic ancestry, him: scottish&irish, me: welsh) so it's beeing carried through our ceremony, whihc is supposed to be similar to anvil weddings in scotland, minus the blacksmith. but a simply breathtaking medieval wedding with all my family and friends would be more than perfect!

I used to have such an elaborate dream wedding, on a hill overlooking the ocean, lots of flowers, about 100 people, beautiful cake, gorgeous dress, the works. But then because of a military issue, we had to get married in a courthouse, just the 2 of us and I realized that all that other stuff didn't mean anything and I don't regret not getting my dream wedding because I got the best groom I could ever have hoped for.

It doesn't matter how rich I was, I would still want a small, intimate ceremony (I'm a pretty private person). I'd want it in a tropical place or Europe with lots of lush green vegetation, and I'd fly the guests there. We would spend a week in a resort. I want a strapless dress. We'd be getting married outside.

I HATE organ music. There will be no organs or pianos or the traditional "wedding march" at my wedding. I want a guitar (and possibly a flute, or trumpet) playing all the songs (dunno what they will be yet).

And we'd all travel back to have the 2 wedding receptions/dances (my city, his city) so my large extended family doesn't feel left out.

At my wedding reception we would serve mashed potatoes, fish and chicken (I'm vegetarian), fruit salad, vegetable salad, and probably oriental ramen noodles (just because I LOVE them and it would drive my parents crazy...)

Whatever we eat at my future-husband's reception will be entirely up to him.

I would have a traditional Ojibwe wedding. With a medicine man joining us together and a great feast of buffalo, venison, turkey, wild rice dishes, fresh fruits, fry bread and delicious punch.
My dress would be made of elk hide and decorated on edges with black velvet and traditional beaded applique floral designs. Elk hide knee high boots to match my dress design.
My (future) husband would give me a big fat double band platinum pear shaped 1 carat diamond.
My husband would have a matching platinum double band.
The cake would be four tiered and decorated with the applique floral designs. We would plant a tree in our honor after the ceremony. THen we would have a giveaway dance. Our honeymoon would be in Italy. Ha ha
Ahhh, I still have to find a husband who is intelligent.

In a castle , and with a theme, staged by some fairy tale, "Sleeping beauty" or something, with a lot of camera men, guests, flowers, and in a designer dress. And a nice orchestra playing. And wonderful food.
And fireworks in the evening, and a lot of rose petals.

My dream wedding would be if it was official and I had the state to recognize it. This in leu of our president trying to change the amendment to the constitution to ban this practice.
