My fiancee is a trained singer and we enjoy going out to sing karaoke... so one night we're out having a great time and he "went to the bathroom".... where he changed into a full tuxedo and came out singing our song ("Amazed" by Lonestar). Mid-way through the song he put the microphone down, got down on one knee and proposed.

It was INCREDIBLY romantic and I cried like a little girl. :-)

That was an AWESOME proposal, in my opinion.

Well my wife loved the way I proposed. We were at a hockey game and I excused myself during the halftime and I came out middle ice and got down on one knee in front of everyone and proposed to her. She couldn't believe that I didnt' that and still to this day tells everyone what I did

Well when my friend got proposed to she told they guy that she wouldnt marry anyone unless the rock was big enough to ice skate on. than one night they were having dinner and he gave her a box of ice skates and when she looked up he had this huge diamond ring for her. so its all about the person. try something they'll like. Dinner is something everyone does and the cupcake thing they might eat the ring. give them like ask a friend if you can borrow their dog than tie a ribbon around the neck with a sign asking will you marry me and have the ring on the ribbon to!

Honestly and sincerely. Dinner is always a good start, put the ring in the bottom of the glass, and let it be discovered. That's how I want to be proposed to!

My fiance got those nested figures, you know, dolls that fit on inside the other. It was a groom, which had the bride inside and then the bridesmaid and the groomsmen, etc. The last thing inside was the ring. I was totally surprised. (The whole time I was thinking, :How dumb is this present - but - ok - I love the guy. He's cute!)

If the one proposes does so in a unique way for the one being proposed to. Ex: I am a huge baseball fan, so my husband took me to Cooperstown and proposed to me at Doubleday Field. Very meaningful for me and thoughtful for him to do so. :)

I think something that is personal to the couple....I wouldn't go with something standard, like in the dessert at dinner....I would go somewhere that means something to the two of you and just let the words come out.

Write a note on his wind screen with chalk saying will you marry me. Do this before he gets there. Don't be there when he goes out to read it. But be close.
