I am the mother of two kids, ages 9 and 6, and it makes me sad to see the number of kids on here asking for help with everything from homework to birthcontrol to everything in between!!?!? Where are their parents?? Does this bother/sadden anyone else??

Am 26 with two kids from my previous relationship. They are taken care of from their dad we are seperated now from 2004. I met this new guy in March 2006 we clicked automated. He is 35 with no kids, he is great financially,emotionally, he is soo sweet and considerate. We haved talked about our future and plan to marry. He helps me with any and everything I need or want regardless. My kids love him; but naturally he wants his own. He deserves a kid he is a almost perfect man and old fashion guy that believes in family,home and his job to take care of them what should I do ? I want to make him happy

He said it's just too hard. We're Long Distance.that's just part of the reason.After all, we've been doing LD for a year now. he just says it's too hard to balance everything in his life. Being the only child,he has very controlling parents;He has duties in his fraternity;he wants to have fun in it since it's his last year in college(but not to date someone else, he's extremely shy, having not even a single female friend and we're each other's first love);on top of this,he'll be on academic probation this one last semester in college. So i sorta understand when he says he doesnt want a relationship right now.he does need to sort out his life. it just hurts when i thought i could be part of this process but he doesnt want me in it. i just wonder will he ever come back to me, when things start to get better. i'm a bit disappointed that he couldnt be a bit stronger but i do love him. i wonder if guys like him ever come back. thanks!

My finance is in this get without giving mode. And if I withhold and say, "me first" he gives a half-a$$ effort kind of like a hurry up and get it over thing so he can have some, or if I say, "nah, I don't feel like it, or no" he thinks its because i'm mad at him or something's wrong. I treat him real good, and am particularly good at things. You think he would try to show some appreciation. How do I effectively handle this? Or what is he thinking?

well, i met a really nice guy on Facebook (it's not a dating website or anything, it's just a site for college students. more or less like myspace). anyway, we've been talking for the past 5 months (i'm in egypt, and he's in the states), and i'm going to the states next fall for a semester abroad (he already graduated), and we're definitely going to be seeing each other a lot when i go there. we like each other so much and i know it might sound irrational because we've never actually met before. anyway, my question is: how do you think the very first time i meet him would go? i've already imagined that, but i need other opinions. thanks.

theres this guy i have had the hots for about five yrs. but i have not seem him in about two yrs. im fifteen and i really like this guy who is seventeen. and all the times we have been near eachother ive seen him look at me(if this makes a dif) hes honost sincere sensitive funny cute and all the good things i wanted in a guy

and clearly it's not me she's married to. we've kinda messed around a little but nothing serious (a little making out here and there) we barely have time to see eachother, she thinks I'm losing interest because of it, but I'm hoping flowers will ease those concerns, obviously can't send em to her home, can't send em to her work because lots of her husbands friends work there and word would get back to him pretty quick.....any ideas on where I could leave them that perhpas only she would see them?

I am wondering what others think. My husband of almost 10 years (and we have been together for 15 years) left me, moved into my best friends house, and is still currently there. At first he didn't care about me seeing other people, but now he says he does and shows some interest in getting back with me, but not totally yet. I don't understand what he is waiting for. He says he is confused and wants to make sure the feelings he is having are for real. We have two children together and he does see them faithfully. I have offered to go to counseling, but he says he doesn't know if he wants to because what if it doesn't work? Is he really confused about his feelings for me?

My friends have suddenly grown up! They wear tons of makeup, always have their hair fixed, they flirt in ways that don't suit them. I am the only one who hasn't changed yet. Should I be like them, is it worth it? I am like... more sportive and it would be hard for me to dress like them. I just realise that after 10 years of friendship, we might not be as close as we used to be.
Whenever we go out I look like the youngest one, who has no taste in clothes. We are supposed to be happy for our friends, but whenever we hang out I feel so embarrassed/humiliated/ugly... even a tomboy. So should I change? If so in what way?

I have been dating a 39-year-old guy for 2 months. We talk to eachother on the telephone for 2-3 hours every night, we spend our weekends together, and he has introduced me to his parents, so he is obviously interested in me -- but he won't kiss me (except when he has been drinking). Even when we are being intimate, no kissing, not even on the neck or anywhere else. No bad breath. What could possibly be the reason?? Shyness? Fear of intimacy? Fear of getting too involved?

ok i was talking to my friend and i told her what one of my friends said to her dad that was funny to me. i told her that my friend said "he is a christain it is not like i am gonna have sex with him" and then i said are you there, and someone from her family said that she was in the shower. i got scared cause i didnt know what they would think when they saw the word sex on her im, and if they would think bad of me because we were talking about that kinda stuff cause we are only 12. i need to know what they thought of me and if they will confront me or not. i feel really bad.

My husband works and I am a stay at home mom. Every three months or so I get the urge to get a job but within a week or two the feeling passes. I have worked before, i am a stylist. But there are about a hundred salons in this small town and all are only for stylist that have their own clients and make there own money. I have done that and have no desire for it anylonger. If I could find a job that was monday -friday 8-5 that would be perfect.
I am so confused i don't want to get a job and hate it. But xtra $ is always nice. Help me---what should I do. We have 2 kids both go to school and my mother will watch them so daycare is not an issue.
