I have been dating a 39-year-old guy for 2 months. We talk to eachother on the telephone for 2-3 hours every night, we spend our weekends together, and he has introduced me to his parents, so he is obviously interested in me -- but he won't kiss me (except when he has been drinking). Even when we are being intimate, no kissing, not even on the neck or anywhere else. No bad breath. What could possibly be the reason?? Shyness? Fear of intimacy? Fear of getting too involved?

Well a lot depends on if you feel that him not kissing you is going to be a relationship killer or not.
He might think that if he kisses you he's ready for marriage or a very serious relationship. I knew a fella just exactly like that--he was worse though. He would never even be alone with a single woman--such a mental case he was!
I'd see what kind of religious background there is in his family first before you ask him why he won't kiss you more--there's some fairly obscure religious beliefs these days.
If you just hit him with that question he might say that he doesn't enjoy kissing you--which would then hurt you a lot I'd guess.
One thing for certain--don't try to force him to like kissing. You just will be wasting your time if you try. It has to come all from him--he must want to.

i can relate to that guy actually.
I rarely kiss my fiancee, did the first time because i had too but i avoid and she dont compel me too.
i dont know why but i cant kiss on the lips.
Is he a tauraus?, just trying to find a pattern.

Have you asked him? That's where you'll get your answer...and I'd have done it already myself...I like kissing too much to not be having that occur pretty early in the relationship...

Yes to the last three possibilities, or he is just being a "gentleman", and not wanting to go too fast. You can always "ask" him.

sounds like he has some issues in his past that he needs to come clean with you about.
he's old enough to have a past that affects his present,and i'd be
willing to bet that a past relationship has affected him.
in all fairness to you he owes you an explanation.
