personally, i would not call the police cause i'd be too busy killin him myself. But, a guy should not hit his girlfriend. i don't care what the circumstances are. But if she is not as strong as him, she should call the police and let family help her take care of the baby. Sweetheart.... there are all kinds of governmentally funded agencies that will help you take care of the baby. Do you watch lifetime? if he hits you, he'll kill you. You're worth more than that. You've made the first step by asking questions. now get help. And don't tell him what people say. making other people the enemy doesn't work. he'll always find a way to make you the problem. e-mail me if you need more info on agencies in your area.

If you don't want to have him charged then dont but you must think of yourselfand child.imagine life a few years down the line you have a screaming kid on your apron and bruses from the last beating, why is the kid screaming? because his/her daddy is beating up the only person in it's short life that can care for it. Wife beaters dont change hun thier tactics do but they dont. If this time he didnt make out it was your fault you were hit then he will next time or the time after. Trust me there will be a next time and time after, and not to be overly dramatic it could end in death, Yours his or your childs. I am 35 years old been there & done that, but if they hit u once it only gets worse & u do not want to raise your child in that environment they will grow up disfunctional & end up with issues because of it in the long haul. a woman was not put on this earth to be beaten . You need to leave it alone & if u have to raise you baby & be a good mother . I know many sucessfull women who have made it on thier own. I have has past abusive relationships & I had to leave & get myself back to me & make a life for me bcuz they brought me down. Some of these men need to realize domestic abuse is horrible & can be devastating. Don't feel like u have to deal with it. It will be up to u, it won't be easy.
