Because she probably loves you and wants to be close to you... I don't see why if you don't even know why she wants to be near you.

Well, it's one thing if she has night terrors and whatnot. Does she have an issue about sleeping alone and in the dark? If she's scared, then comfort her.
If she likes you of course she'll want to sleep right next to you.
Really, I would do that every night with my guy, but it gets too hot, he emanates too much body heat, and I can't sleep right. Plus he's like over six feet tall, and I'm only a bit over 5 feet tall, so you know that he's going to crush me with one of his arms or legs.
He's a big baby in his sleep though, and he's the type to cuddle someone even without him knowing it.
