Sure...I've had profiles/personal ads online on and off for years...some sites have a number of questions for you to answer, so that makes it easy...then there's typically a place for you to describe in your own words, yourself and the type of person you are hoping to meet.
Just be honest...read some profiles/ads on that site or others and you'll get an idea of what people post. Sometimes folks use humor, sometimes sarcasm, some are just factual...
What I would recommend against is listing what you don't like, don't want, and your negative experiences...that comes across as a lot of baggage, y'know? Be positive and friendly and have at least one good, clear photo to include.

I did and just put the answers to the questions truthfully, did not try to lie about anything, posted a recent picture.Got several responses from women who felt like they needed to post pictures from 5 years ago and then lie about thier age. Finally I did meet a nice looking women, went out a few times, had sex several times, she decided she would at this time tell me she liked to drink a case of beer everyday and was a chainsmoker and at 43 wanted to have my baby to add to her 4 kids(3 grown).
I was honest and told her I did not think we were compatable with each other because I did not drink but maybe 3 beers a week, and did not know her well enough to start bouncing babies out.We parted ways and then the stalking began and the threats, why threaten someone you want to get a donation of semen from.Be careful it's a war out there.

Yes I did...I got responses from women who had something I clearly stated was a problem (either distance from me or kids) and I made casual contact with 10 or so women and only one even got back with me, none flat out said no...and the one I talked to said she put a profile up cos she was bored...so, anyway, I pretty much said all about me that I was prompted to say...you can post them for free but most sites make you pay if you actually want to talk to someone, and yahoo wouldnt let you put your messenger ID up, clearly that would make it so people could talk for free...kinda lame overall, I wish the women who werent interested would have just been like, get lost loser but they dont do it online apparently...

very own advert columns are crammed with classified ads aimed in direction of getting which includes others, and for countless motives beginning from dating to 'booty-calls.' very own advert columns are the final vestige of the socially inept. examining those classified ads, the individuals who place them make themselves out to look as though an appropriate individual whilst, in certainty, in the event that they have been so appropriate and so likeable, why can not they get out and easily work together with human beings relatively than doing it in a one-inch advert in a mag or newspaper? Responding to a private advert is like being set up on a blind date via a blind individual who might relatively be merchandising pencils out of a tin cup on a streetcorner. desire a date with a entire loser? answer a private advert.
