We call ourselves best friends,
And thought forever it would be,
No one believed we were close
We’re so different you see,
Forgot looks, personality and taste,
And ignored what they said,
We talked about other things,
Like boys and the books we read,
But one day she told me,
Something I thought she’d never say,
It concerned someone I cared about,
Since then we drifted apart each day,,
We’ve had so many arguments,
Sometimes every hour,
And then the things that never mattered then,
Showed us who we really are,
We still hang out together,
But she drives me insane,
Then I begin to wonder,
That each other’s company is in vain,
The only people who know about this
Is me and my so called friend,
And now I sometimes feel,
That our friendship is going to end.

Mid-Life Crisis?
I recently turned 35 years old and just started having these feelings of an incomplete life or unaccomplished life. I also got married (second marriage) about a year ago. I love my husband very much but I just feel like I'm missing something in life and it worries me. I've heard all these stories of women going through mid-life crisis's and I don't want to be another statistic. Again, I love my husband very much and none of the emotions I'm feeling have anything to do with finding sex or attention anywhere else. It's more about career and where I am in life (financially and geographically). Has anyone ever experienced anything like that and if so, how did you deal with it? Please, ONLY mature responses.

how I feel about the whole break up thing only after 2 day when it happened? He started arguing with me on the computer for no apparent reason? Could he be regretting about breaking up and if so why cant he just come out and say it? He pretty much said that he didn't want to date right now and in those two days just said that he didnt get the point of a deep connection with me. Why couldnt he tell me that beforehand?

hi, i just met this hot girl in a bank when i went to get a new credit card (she was whatever you call the person who sorts it all out for you and gives you the details etc.) anyway, we were flirting with eachother and im pretty sure she liked me, and when i left she told me i should come back and see her after ive been travelling (im going travelling soon.) basically i should have got her number or given her my number but for some stupid reason i didnt.. so i need an excuse to go back! does anyone have a decent reason for why i could go back and talk to her? preferably so i could talk to her for a decent length of time so it would seem real and i could get back into the flirting again. i dont want to seem needy or something or like i really really realyl want to go back, so i need a decent reason. any suggestions welcome. thanks

Okey here it goes,
im trying to get with this one girl i like ive liked her for a little over a year but have kept silent (but i know for a fact that she always knew i liked her). beacuse she has been with her bf now ex boyfriend but he keeps on talking to her wanting to get back together and she doesnt but at times thinks about giving him a 3rd chance (yes 3rd not 2nd) but me and her have been talking pretty much everyday for a little over a month and her friends say " give him(me) a chance he is right for you" but she says she doesnt want to or is afraid to because it would start tension between me her and her ex but at the same time she says she likes me so what should i do to ease her mind? beat his ***?? because i really want to be with her!!! im thinkin i should just go and ask her anyway when i feel the time is right the worst that can happen is being told no.

Ok, so i'm 15 and i've never had a boyfriend. My best mate has a boyfriend and everyone always says how pretty she is, i'm really happy for her but sometimes i just get so jelous. my husband has being cheating on me.. we have being married for twuelve years.. he once had an affair that brought a child wich Im raising now because the mother is a looser who let other men sexually molested the little girl. After I came back because we separated for a year and so I made it possible for him to have his daugther I move heaven and earth to get this child for him... I tought that for sure he would never sleep around again till this new years... I investigated and ask and look till I found out when I confronted him he could not denied.. and the only thing he could come up with was to tell me he needed help!! he told our kids wht he done they are small 9,7,8 and they are very scared that we separate again.. I know telling the kids was his last resort he is begging for one more chance.. I told him I CANT SLEEP WITH HIM ANYMORE..and if and that is a big IF.. I was to stay it would be till the kids get a little older so they wont be traumatize about this.

see...i got engaged to my bf few months back. He kind of resigned fm his job after that...My dad doesn't like him coz he thinks he's worthless(i mean professionally) an to satisfy himself called up at my bf's office to kno wat job he was doin(my folks din kno that he's left his job) and were outraged 2 find out the truth...My dad says he wont marry me to him until he finds a decent job again...while my bf says that i shud be ready to marry him with or without a job an that i shud marry him by the time our marriage was originally fixed by my parents....he says that if i love him unconditionally then i shud marry him with or without my parents consent. He is searching for a job right now... i personally dont want to defy my parents but at the same time he's my life an cant hurt him too. wat shud i do??

My girlfriend of 3 weeks forgot my New Years Day birthday! What should I do?! She's out of state right now and won't be back to campus until Friday (we go to college together). I ended up calling her 1/1/07 at 9:00PM, and after like 5 seconds of silence and an unmistakable "oh sh!t," she wished me a happy birthday but didn't apologize for obviously forgetting. We chitchatted for about 15 more minutes before hanging up, my voice was probably quite incredulous the entire time.

I feel like I want to just walk away from her. Is this a proper reaction? Should I even bother to continue such a relationship? How interested could she possibly be for me if she forgets my New Years Day birthday? I mean how hard is that for someone to forget?

I still have something for her for Christmas that I was going to give her after she comes back to campus (we had planned to exchange gifts then). But now I really don't feel like giving her anything.

I turned 22 yesterday, by the way.

Two women where I work at decided that they knew whats best for and decided to start interfering in my personal life. The two women didn't know a damn thing about me. The one of the women who knew me best wasn't even positive if I was straight or not. They kept getting involved and telling me I was doing things wrong in my personal. Even thought they had no clue what was going on in my personal life. I told them I didn't like them meddleing, we got into arguments, I would get physically upset and leave the room were they where at. Finally another woman I went through the same thing with told them that I didn't like people meddleing in my life. Then one of the women came to me asking me if they did anything wrong. This was after a few months of me telling them I don't like and getting upset with them. And after they pretty much destroyed what was going on in my personal life.
Why do people expcially women think they have the answers to everything?

I have been doing a lot of soul searching on this one. Over one year ago my GF's sister's boyfriend got drunk and tore up her house, aimed a loaded gun at her, and threatened her 5 year old who was sent running down the block to the neighbors, all while she was pregnant with his child. He was arrested and thrown in jail the whole time claiming he could not remember his behavior. Two weeks passed and she pleading in court for his release. She was lonely without him and she still wanted to "make it work".

Last week he got drunk again and had another episode. Relatives were visiting and he tried to walk in one one of them in the shower. When my GF's sister called him out on his crazy behavior he got enraged and again threatened the life of her now 6 year old son and denounced her now one year old as his. She stayed with me for two days and then came running back to him. This man is on anti psychotics and continues to drink with them. I am truly afraid for the children.
