My friend is 16 and her boyfriend bought her a vibrator and her mom found it. Can her mom get her boyfriend in any legal trouble because of it?

In my state it's illegal for a person under ??18 or 21 to go in one of those sex shops....so, mom could feasibly get the shop in trouble if there's only a few in the vicinity that sell that vibrator....who would end up sending him to court for being an underage buyer. But that's alot of effort and money. Easier to handle it herself.
So not directly in trouble, not that I'm aware of but the girl better get ready to kiss her boyfriend goodbye. I bet Mom's seeing fire and I don't blame her. Sorry, at 16 and how ever old the boyfriend is, that's too young to be that casual about sex. I don't care how "in the dark" you think I'm being. It's mom's job to protect her children as long as she can and I hope she boots this boy out and has a long heart to heart with her daughter.

No, it's not illegal to buy or give a vibrator to anyone, regardless of age.

it depends. is your friend's boyfriend a minor or an adult? it is illegal in some states (Florida) to give sexual devices as gifts to minors but i believe you have to be an adult for most of these to apply.
