Hi there. Congratulations on finding someone who you connect with. To me age is no matter as there really is Someone for everyone. Tell your mum, show her just how happy you are, I am sure she will understand! You will only regret dumping your new found partner and be miserable, so why jeopardise that? You are 18, you are old enough to make you own decisions about your life, remember YOU are in control not your mum.

I'm 28 and have been with a 47, 46 , 36 and 34 year old men, none of them knew what they wanted in life. So no matter what age they are, they are still boys. So the age shouldn't bother you. If you've got an open relationship with your mom tell her about it. I'm sure she won't have a problem with that.

The age gap shouldn't make any difference if you like each other BUT just make sure he isn't using you as a 'badge of honour' or whatever term you choose to put on it. Remember also, if it develops further, when you are 30 he will be 43 and so on and so on!
Then it will make a difference......start out as friends, don't jump into bed together and see how it goes......chances are that if you play safe he will move on anyway......

Tricky one!Do you think this relationship can really last,not just because of the age gap,but the fact you are 18 and still maybe a bit naive towards a committed relationship!

age is a number sweetheart there was thirteen years between me and my last wife she was 18 when i met her we were togther ten years she left in sept saying she had now grown up and relised she didnt love me anymore so that would be my only advice to you not being rude or hurtfull being kind are you grown up enough to know what you really want that is a tough one good luck on your descion has to be yours no one else can tell you sweetiex

ask your mum what she thinks,you are only 18 and there is a big age difference.
I wouldnt be happy with my 18 year old step-daughter going out with a 31 year old man and i know her dad would NOT be happy either

You are just having a crush like every girl at your age will...Its nothing abnormal. My Advice to you would be dont....DONT ....rush into conclussion rite now....coz...usally older men attracts younger women and versa visa its same with the men too....

you have nothing to hide you are of legal age.some one said that you shouldn't listen to any one,well tell your mom about it,she may not be against it and who better to give you a young girl advise than your old girl?You don't have to tell everything,but believe me when the times get rough and they always do you will need advice from some who absolutely has your best interests at heart and that's mommy dearest.

To me personally age doesn't matter if you know he is the one (love) then so be it but don't make a choice that you will end up regretting in the end, be careful because you don't even know if he is using you.
