Technically you're only an insane teenager until you turn 20.
Then you're an insane woman.
Good luck! *smooch*

Sometimes until they are around 30. the life of a teenage girl changes dramatically when she turns 13. Retardation sets in and she becomes a drama queen. Everything is life and death and this phase will not pass until she has graduated from high school. But be careful.. sometimes when you least expect it, and when you let your guard down, the teenager in your 25 year old daughter will pop out unexpectedly.
Raising girls through their teen years is something that we have done twice, and I wish on no sane person. Good luck

teenage girls are not really insane they just have emotional rollercoasters inside them that cause emotional fits. I mean guys see as girls veing crazy but they deal with the everyday factors we do. I mean there were days i just wanted to go crazy on the world but by the age of thirteen i was to mature and had figured out so many ways to avoid these rollercoasters. So your only as insane as you choose to be and for how long you choos e to be.

Don't worry, love, we have a teenage daughter who went off the rails two years ago. the more we tried talking to her, the worse she became, so, hard though it was, we just ignored her insane behaviour, after a year of that she is a lovely girl again, mostly it is attention seeking, cheers john

From my experience it starts calming down when the graduate from high school. But it's still not all gone at 22. So it seems like forever.

Remember we all were teenagers @ one time or another. Some grow up sooner and others later. Take it one day @ a time. Try some quality time with her and if all else fails do a shopping trip on you. Good Luck

It's amazing to me how the guys have answered this question...I certainly hope that these are not the images your are going to pass on to your sons? We have an 18 yr.old daughter and we've experienced lots of ups and downs and the most important thing is to communicate whether the situation is good, bad or indifferent. I don't know your situation but I feel the most important thing is to always let them know they are loved!

Ah, the Hormonal Rage of the teen years ... depends on how long they are allowed to NOT grow up or take full responsibility for their outcomes in life ...
