Why do I continously get kicked in the balls by women?
Last couple years, it's been standard fair. We meet, talk on the phone, then have a good time (talking and getting to know one another that is) over dinner or coffee and I feel it'll go somewhere.
And then alas, it doesn't. Don't take it like im sheltered, but im in my mid-twenties. What the hell is going on?

Last week I went out with this cool girl, and we really clicked. She and I were very comfortable around each other and I asked her out for this weekend and she said she'd love to. This was about a week before christmas. I have not heard from her since calling her a couple times since. We were supposed to go out tomorrow night. I know she is buying a house and is running around it's the holidays, but really........I get it. She hasn't gotten back to me, so I moved on, but really


Is she interested or is it over? I ask because I felt something with this girl I haven't with anyone else in a long time, a connection that it could go into a relationship.

1) never celebrates anything....got you nothing for your birthday not even a love note/card....doesn't do anything for your anniversary. gives you a LAME eCard for valentines day instead of a fun little inside joke handwritten card.....

2) calls you by an ex-girlfriend's name [that he had been broken up with for 3 years! already]

3) still goes out to lunch with his ex-girlfriend

4) talks to his ex-girlfriend on the phone iN FRONT of YOU

5) you buy him a Wii as an early christmas present the 1st week of december...camped out and everything for it.....and he doesn't even have the decency to wish you a MERRy CHRisTMAS on christmas day [and you guys weren't planning on seeing each other for christmas]

6) been dating a YEAR and a half and still haven't met ANY of his family....not even a brother...nothing

7) emails you how he's worried about your slight weight gain...i'm 137lbs! sorry i'm not in the gym everyday jeeeZ!

8) is judgemental,ungrateful,and unappreciative!

My husband is 24 and I am 18. We are very much in love with each toher and would never do anything that would get in the way of our relationship or future goals. I started birth control a few months ago and gained almost 20 pounds. I had a horrible relationship with my family at the time so we decided to get married in front of a judge and have our wedding a year later. Since our marriage we have been able to build soem bridges with my family. There are still rumors going around that the only reason that we are married is beause I am "knocked up" and that my husband is ruining my life. My husband and I both work 60 hours a week and we go to night school,. Not only does he not have time to "knock me up" but we would never do anything to ruin our chances of finishing school. If I call my family out on this, no matter how nice I am about it then they will want nothing to do with me anymore. Should I wait 9 months and proove them wrong or risk ruining relationships and stand up for myself?

I told my significant other that I dont want anything to do with his family when he gets out of prision, because they know our babygirl and I are in a tough situation and they did not even have the heart to call during the holidays and ask how the baby was doing. I have a problem, I do NOT want to walk down the isle to the corny song here comes the bride. I like the hawiian version of somewhere over the rainbow by IZ, but my fiance says thats dumb. I think its cute b/c that song tells about a world that you canonly dream of, and that day, my dream would be coming true. wouldn't you think it's weird to not have met a single family member if you had been dating a person that long??....i'm not talking about meeting the parents etc...i didn't think it was a big deal...it's not like i wanted to marry him or anything...i just wanted to be invited into his life....and his family lives in town!

i'm in my early 20s he's in his late 20s

i just thought it was weird.



After how much time is it customary to take the girlfriend to meet your family ...JUST CASUALLY!? i suppose all guys are different..but i still found it a little strange.

I tried getting him to court but apparently the papers where sent back and I was told I had to serve them I don't speak to the guy and the addesss listed was just a mailing address he doesn't reside their so I felt helpless and alone why and how do you chase someone you don't speak too and why can't the system offer more help my daughter is six years old he doesn't call or has he paid me a dime since she's been born and the last I heard he's a cab driver so I'm pretty sure he's making money on a daily basis

Okay for the people that wanted to know. She's not trying top make up with me at all, and I certaining think there is no making up. We have tried that even at church but she keeps disrespecting me at her moms house.She emails my husband taking about me too. He doesnt want to have nothing to do with her at all not all because of me. She talked about him to me also and to her other friends. She curses me out in front of our children. i brought 2 gift for someone the first was 2 cute and cheap shirt.(since money was low) once we got on webcam and exchanged gifts the look he gave was a look of dissappointment so i thought well maybe he didnt ike it . so i found the means of getting a lil more cash and went and brought sum cute CHAPS khaki pants and a NAUTICA t-shirt (dont have to wore as a outfit) i didnt care if it was worn seperate. well the person called me a cursed me out callin me unthoughtful bc i brought a name brand that ive never seen him wear.was i wrong tell tim to send it back to me ?what should i say to him?

I love my husband very much but his family are causing our 2 month marriage to go down the drain. They have mentally abused me pretty much since weve been together, but the last year has been hell, i am so low ive tried to commit suicide 3 times in about 6 weeks, i was nearly sectiones yesterday that i was so ill over his family. I am pregnant and the stress is doing me and the baby no good. I am seeing lots of different people to try and help me deal with things but its just not working. I want him to choose and although to you lot it might not seem acceptable, its the only thing that will hold our marriage together, cos i cant take it anymore.Even my GP says he needs to make a choice. I dont know what to do, talking ends up in an argument, everytime without fail, he just wont choose. If i leave i have nowhere to go and will end up on the streets. Im a confused mess, anyone got any advice

I'm 32 and have been dating a guy for about 3 months - not very long I know. Christmas went well. We even exchanged presents and he gave me a necklace. During the past week I've had maybe a five minute phone conversation from him since.
I've left a couple of messages that have been unreturned which is not like him at all. I'm wondering if he's pulling a "fadeaway" as a way of avoiding the whole breakup scene.

Avoidance is acceptable after a few dates but I guess after 4 months, I expected a little more. I could be paranoid - maybe he's just really busy but then again, I'm not naiive either. Experience has taught me a thing or too. I'm just going to stop pursuing it - if he callls - fine...If not, that's fine too because I don't need this from a 37 yr old man.

Is there anyone who could help me understand the male psyche?? Why invest in a necklace if you're going to stop calling one week later?

My childrens father left a little over 2 years ago, and moved to a different state. He has 2 boys with a woman in Michigan that are now out of school, another child with another woman in Michigan that he has never seen, my 2 kids, and as of October 2005 another child. My problem is he is 39 (will be 40 in Feb.), and the girl he had this last child with was 15 ( 16 now)!!!! He wanted me to let my children (6&7) to go out of state for the holidays, and spend it with him and that girl and the baby. My response is H-LL NO!!!! I do not want my son or daughter to think that is acceptable behavior, because it is not. Really he should be in jail, in my opinion. He says I am making too much of it, and I say children learn by example and that is not a good example in my eyes. He doesn't see anything wrong with what he is doing, and I see that he is a grown man who has daughters, and what would he do if it were them. No answer. So who is right?

Say a guy and a girl were having sex and they had condoms and it was her time of month to get pregnant, and he did it without the condom anyways, until she asked him to put it on so he did and came with the condom on.
