In the past I used to be boy/girl crazy...obsessing over trying to get into "relationships". I never had a relationship before...but now I don't want to have one in high school. I'm perfectly happy with myself. A lot of the high school people seem to "go out" with each other...but they only last a few months. My opinion is that relationships are overated. I have high standards and all I want is a soulmate that I can marry. So my question is it okay to not have a relationship in high school? Also I'm curious what are relationships actually like? What do you do? Are they that "great"?

I'm 16 yrs. old and I was adopted from Lima, Peru when I was 6 months old. I never knew my mother, much less my father. I don't know anything about her, I don't even have a picture to look at, and my adoptive parents didn't even get to meet her. I feel lost, and I feel that now I'm 16 yrs. old I need to find out more about her. I feel empty, I wanna know who she is, people that aren't adopted doesn't know how it feels to not know the person who gave you "life". I don't feel right asking my adoptive mother/father if I could ever find her, for some reason I feel that I would be hurting them, even though I Love them very much. All I know is her name is Amelia, I don't even know if she could still be alive. Anyways, I want to know if there is any way to confront your parents about finding about my birthmother without making them "sad" or something idk. Is there anything that could help you find your parent(s)???

been going with my bf for 5 yrs and just got engaged.the problem is his exwife jo.she still loves him and will not leave us or his family alone.they have a 8 yr old son tom and jo uses him like bait to get into family functions and to contact my bf daily.she calls him for EVERYTHING, from tom stubbing his to toe to his last bowel movement(not kidding)which then leads into a 15-20 min conversation about other things.this would not bother me much if she was not such a ***** to me.she always trys to undermind me to my inlaws,and has made it very clear she wants me to have nothing to do with her son.my bf will not say anything to her period as he said he wants to take the high road with her for tom's sake and has told me if i don't like it get out.they have joint custody so she can't deny him visatation rights.he said i don't have a child so i won't understand his reasoning.i just feel she is controlling him thru tom and to involved in our lives.i have to live with it or get out am i wrong

I have been asking alot of these questions on the answers herew and all ikeep seeing is my wife is cheating, my husband is cheating, this is pathetic I know that we have better things to do then express or personal lives all over the net. I do believe these people must start asking the spouses these questions or atleast a lawyer? Come on people if you know you cannot be faithful to one person for life stop waisting the churchs time and stay single because all you are doing is destroying peoples feelings, lives and the lives of your children.

I thought of getting a hotel room for girl fun - but some parents aren't going for it. She's not into the girly-girl stuff, but a few of her friends are. I love my girlfriend and I want everything to go good for us. The thing that bothers me the most is that we don't talk alot. When i talk to her, I'm afarid to say stuff thinking that it will make her think Im crazy or it might get on her nerves. Me and her are not the talkative type, but I want us to be. have this guy who
s acting pirculiar... there was one occasion.. that while I was talking to him.. he didn't give any eye contact, the entire time we talked , then I noticed he had his hands in his hoodie pocket, he just acted nervous the entire time, then at the end of the conversation , he asked me how my christmas was...I I told him it was okay..then he asked so who did you spend it with...And I told him just family. Then the next day, I seen him.then later on, he comes up to me and he's like oh..your face..and I asked what about it, he says..you look so sad...and I really don't want to see you like that and he wants to cheer me up and he asked me what I was listening to on my ipod...and he started cracking some jokes...and then he asked me so when will you be back here at the gym again..I told him probably tommorrow..and he was like well I'll be messing with you tommorrow then..so what do you think? Do you think he's flirting or just being cordial?

i was with my boyfriend for 3 yrs our relationship had problems so ask my friend wht 2 do she said to go on a break n meet new ppl to hang out with it made everything worse becasue i only really talked to guys. he got jealous and broke up with me. we got back together later but i still talkd to my guy friends. we broke up a few more times 4 the same reason then people started telling him i was cheating and we broke up. i got him to talk to me again but i had to move to houston he lives in san antonio. everything was fine we were actually getting somewhere and then once i get to houston i lost signal on n off. so if he texted me i wouldnt get it till 4 hours later and i miss all his calls. he said he didnt want to get hurt so he stopped talking to me. about 2 months later we started talking again and he said if he can trust we can get bak together. i need to get his trust back i need him to know im not going to leave him. it was my fault 4 listenin everything else was a misunderstandin

This May I will be moving into an apartment with my boyfriend of 4 years out of wedlock. We are old enough, financially capable, and using protection.
