My friend is getting married soon, and he and his fiance are trying to figure out whether or not to provide an open bar and/or serve wine with dinner as an option. His fiance does not drink for religious reasons, and he doesn't drink mostly because he doesn't like it. She would like to NOT serve alcohol at the wedding. No one on her side of the family drinks. He doesn't really care either way, though most of his family DOES enjoy drinking. And most of their friends enjoy wine with meals. Luckily, no raging alcoholics among the crowd...

So here is their question (and kinda mine, out of curiousity) : Will guests who drink expect wine or a bar at the wedding? Is it rude not to have alcohol available just because the groom and bride don't drink? The bride is worried what people from her church will think if there is wine or a bar. Groom is worried of offending family.

okay......my best friend thinks that shes pregnant........and shes way too young......ive been so worried since i found out......well....she knew how dangerous it was when ur young...and i told her the most dangerous part......well...she told her mom about it the day before this and her mom was SO happy for her and she didnt even tell her how dangerous it was....now shes mad and keeps ignoring me...im so worried!! what do i do??? did i do the right thing by telling her.....i feel really bad about this???? any advice....or opinions saying i did the right thing thatll make me feel better??????thanx.....

While my parents were in the midst of their divorce they'd talk crap about each other to my sister and I. (She was 13, I was 11). Is this normal? Should parents do that? Furthermore, my dad was not court ordered to pay child support, so my mom would make my sister or I go demand the money from my dad. Why do parents act like children when they get divorced? I'm an adult now, and could not even imagine putting my kids through that crap. Anybody else experience these kinds of things?

I can tell he likes me too. He always says that I'm a really good "friend" but I don't know what he means by that. I like him so much more than that, and I don't want to miss out on him. A lot of his friends and my friends say that we should go out, but I'm just too nervous to do the asking myself. I always find myself thinking about him and I just can't get my mind off him. I can't just forget about him, so I want to make something work out. I'm just so shy, so I don't know how to be a good girlfriend if I end up dating him. We're only freshmen in high school, so is that too early to go out?

I am a 19 yo female who has been seeing a 39 yo male on and off for a month now. He is always very sweet and respectful and we enjoy eachother's company but I am not exactly sure about what his intentions are.

We met a year ago at the gym and started working out a few times together before he moved to a different town. I then got into contact with him beginning of the summer about an internship position he had mentioned and we worked together over the summer. I was attracted to him physically and it turns out he felt the same way about me (he would tell me I looked beautiful or sexy). Then I found out that he is married and has a child so then I decided to drop it. I was then out of the country for a month before returning for school and did not contact him after that. Then in the beginning of November I got an email from him and we have been on a few dates since then. He gave me my first kiss and has expressed that he does not want me seeing other people. Seems sincere. Advice?

I'm sexually active. My BF isn't in town and We have this thing where I'm submissive and he's in control. Ok... my girlfriend decided to break up with me, and i was really hurt, so I said we couldnt even be friends anymore! She got really upset! My parents I should say aren't the nicest people. I'm 15 years old and my parents are constantly yelling at me. My parents argue with each other and say that their marital problems are my fault. I have severe depression and see a therapist once a week, but I don't talk to her much because I don't like talking about my past....My parents yell at me b/c of my music that i listen to and the kind of clothes i wear. They won't let me get my permit or even take my driving courses. They also won't let me get my work permit which I totally do not understand. Please someone help me I can't take this anymore.

This dude is extra nice and almost so nice he's quite cheesy. But he stalks me or something---LITERALLY. He walks me to my classes AND waits for me after my classes even though he knows he'll probably be late for his next class because most of the time his classes are on the opposite side of school(and trust me, this school is HUGE, middleschool AND highschool together, I get tired just walking to the entrance!).

Its pretty OBVIOUS he likes me, but he's killing my opportunity of meeting other guys since he's almost ALWAYS with me, and if he isn't with me, he's FINDING me, I had to hide behind my friend and duck under a lockerbay since he was looking for me!

How do I tell him to stop following me without being too mean? He's a ...sweet guy sort of..but I'm not interested in dating and I don't want him to ALWAYS tag along when I'm with my other guy friends and girl posse. I don't need him to act like my boyfriend when he's not! NO! I will not curse at him and tell him to f_ck off

My dad has always found it easier to have distructive relationships with the family but I seem to be the odd one out at times. He is very need oriented and since I am independent and don't want his help he disowned me. He had my sister call me to let me kno that he's getting married and would not only like me to attend the wedding but he'll get an apartment for my sister, our kids and myself and he'll pay for it. I don't want to move but I'm torn if I should go to the wedding and put up with their singeling me out and putting me down or if I should just leave them alone.He has shown no interest in me or my son until this sudden wedding. I also think that he's using this woman for money or because he's running from the law.I don't like the way that he talks to me or treats me.....what should I do?????????

I have plenty of male married guys who say they are miserable in their marrieages. Some have confided to me that they are no longer in love with their wives and most are having a series of one nite stands and a few are having serious affairs with women they "claim" to really be in love with.. All of these guys have children from these marriages..But yet they dont leave. As a woman with experience and who's also had female friends who have done it, if a woman is unhappy and no longer in love with the man she has children with she will leave the relationship. Why is it that so many supposed unhappy men stay in the marriage, cheat like crazy or have affairs and claim to be so unhappy but yet stay married??

we are having a baby and the mother has decided to move without letting us know. prior to her moving we were going to be extremely involved with the baby (I have other children and play a big role).
