I can tell he likes me too. He always says that I'm a really good "friend" but I don't know what he means by that. I like him so much more than that, and I don't want to miss out on him. A lot of his friends and my friends say that we should go out, but I'm just too nervous to do the asking myself. I always find myself thinking about him and I just can't get my mind off him. I can't just forget about him, so I want to make something work out. I'm just so shy, so I don't know how to be a good girlfriend if I end up dating him. We're only freshmen in high school, so is that too early to go out?

alot of teenagers start going out with they are freshmen. If he went to winter formal. I don't see why you can not ask him if he would like to get together one night. go to the movies or something. going out as friends can develop into something its the risk you have to take. if he says no . Go on and have fun you will meet a boy that will like you. just be yourself.

Ask him out. Guys like that that when you take the initative. Maybe he is scared and nervous to ask you out you never know.Whats the worst that can happen. Have a party and invite him. Then if its cool between you two ask him if he would like to catch a movie.

It's a little young for one-on-one dating...you're only about 14. If you like him let him know though...no reason you can't spend time together and get to know one another better...by the time you're of a good dating age (about 16) who knows what your relationship might be...

I personally think you should not ask him out. I think you should wait until he asks you out. Guys like that stuff. They do not like girls to be too eager about things about that. If he had a good time with you, he will most likely ask you out again.

yeah of course you should ask him out if you both really like each other! my ex bf asked me out to homecoming and that was him asking me out..i found out a couple days later though lol..
hmm..if you're too nervous..just like write him a lil note asking him..so you don't have to ask him in person
and guys probably think it's cute!

Do not ask him out! Men like to be the chasers. It sounds like he already knows you like him so just be patient and wait. If he does nothing...then maybe he's just not that into you....or atleast not in that way.

Go for it girl! I think that life is to short to wait! It sounds that he's into you by the few details you describe. But I say go for it. ^.^

Good Luck!

go for it! even if he says no at the time, it puts the thought of going out with you in his head for the future
