Ok, last year (i know its a long time) there was a girl that im pretty sure liked me. I never talked to her because I was to shy and really didnt know what to say to her. Now I have a really big crush on her, and I cant even get her to look at me anymore. I know that she probably felt rejected when I didnt talk to her, but how can I fix this?

she probably looks at u as a wuss and has her guard up so high you'll never get around it. why don't u just move on and focus on a chick u don't have an awkward past with? i'm sure the girl u like is great, but the last thing u need as a shy guy is to build up the courage to holla at this girl and get a negative reaction that'll make u crawl back into your shell. find a new chick u like and learn from your previous mistake.

Tell her the truth, what you've just said here is perfect.
Sending her a note may be easiest: Send her a Christmas card or a New Years card...if you wait until Feb. then make it a Valentine's card and explain you would have written earlier about this, but were too shy to do so. .
She'll probably find it charming and cute and be willing to write you back or talk to you about dating each other, or at least about taking your friendship at a new level.
Don't wait too long to do this though! You don't have forever to make your move.

It's important that you let her know that you WANT to talk to her. It hurts when someone you really like doesn't seem to take an interest in talking to you. Once you let her know, she'll probably warm up to you again. Just make sure her friends aren't out to kill you, because if they think you hurt her feelings, they will not hesitate to tear you apart and devour you.

First of all, its OK that your shy. I HATE guys that think they got dating in the bag..eww arrogant! anyway, you should make an effort to talk to her more. but not all at once....sit down and think of different topics to discuss so u wont have that weird silence......but don't leave when you have run out of topics, do it before! "so ill see you later OK?" then leave SMILING! show real interest when you are talking....girls hate it when guys seem distracted.....but that should help! GOOD LUCK!

I've felt that way too (about a guy). In fact, this year I did. I just always tried to get his attention and talk to him. Always be yourself, though. Try to get to know the person and let them know, in a not so obvious way, that you like them. good luck!

try to talked with her be a man to face the truth, first be a friend with her then share some ideas, on the later part, tell her your feelings without hesitation. or give her some flowers with a note 'that you missed her so much'.
