has one of your friend done something good today? if they have what did they do?

my friend lisa and i went to a friends house party after the club last night.
i had stopped drinking a hour before the club shut so i was almost sober but she was still drunk.

when she went upstairs with a guy that she has fancied for ages she refused to have sex with him coz he had no protection.

im really proud of her for doing that coz i know she really likes the guy but she still put her own safety first.

I think freedom...i am a bit of a free bird myself and dont like to feel caged, restricted or trapped...my idea here is that if you allow someone to be the person they are without imposing rules and restrictions on them then if they stay and if it works then it is because you are both happy where you are...when you impose rules etc on people surely half the time people only behave a certain way because they feel they must...and that grates...what do you think?

...i am speaking generally but in particular think about fidelity issues as despite the restrictions that society and couples place on each other the statistics show that an extroadinary number of people are unfaithful...men and women...;0)

I really enjoy a really good friendship with someone at work and I would like to tell him how I feel about him. Even though he is 8 years older than me. How or what should I do? I am just as nervous to speak the truth. Could someone else do it for me?

If a guy friend that used to like you tells you he doesn't like you anymore but gets mad at you when you don't call or go see them... I think he is full of sh*t and says that so he can convince himself of that.

I really like this guy, but he lives 3000km away. I would love more then anything if it were possible for something to happen, but I just don't think it can. He can't move here because of his work, and I can't because of school. It hurts to much to think about us not working, but I just can't deal with it anymore. Tips to help get over him would be greatly appreciated. Serious ones please....

I dont want to make my daughter feel guilty like she did anything wrong - the family is already fighting because of this guy and I dont want my daughter to feel like she will be to blame if she says he did do something to her. The sister in law is already defending the boyfriend even before the mention of anything was made?

From what I can see. There are famous guys, rich guys, and good looking guys out there. But there is something more personality. What is it about "George Clooney" type personalities that women find attractive.

I have been married for over 10 years with 2 kids. I have fallen out of love with my husband. He has told me that if we ever get divorced that he will not let the kids go. He has violent tendencies due to a medical condition (he is treated, so he doesn't have flare ups). Also, he has disowned his whole family so my family is his only one. And he doesn't really have any friends except maybe a couple people from work. However, he doesn't go out with friends or anything.....How do I tell him I want a divorce? I don't want to leave him completely alone, but I just don't love him anymore!

My friends husband cheated

My husband and I are going through a hard time. I love him with all I have and he loves me, but it isn't working out. Life is breaking us appart. He has been acting strange. We are seperated, but we still live together and he sleeps on the couch. This is only the second day of seperation and he comes to our bed this morning and holds me. He starts saying sweet words and says he canot hide his love for me and we make love. Half way through he stops and says Idon't know if this is right, but he finishes anyway. When he was leaving for work I told him I love him as he walks out the door and he replies, 'what do you want me to say. I only did that so I wouldn't do anything stupid with another girl today"
I am so confused and hurt right now. It is hard enough to have lost the man I love more than anyone else, and he is playing with me now. I am completly alone and I have no family to talk to and all of my friends cannot be trusted. What do I do? I need advice.

My husband lost a woman that he considered more of a mother than his own. I'm trying to be there for him and asked him if he would like me to go to the funeral with him and he absolutely blew up, yelling at me and saying I was trying to trap him down to an answer and that he didn't know what he wanted or needed. I told him that I just wanted to be here for him if he needed me. His response was, "Fine. Go to the friggin' funeral." (one of those words was changed for sensoring purposes) I understand that he is upset, but when someone offers themselves I just don't think the response should be, "Then just friggin' do it." I'm very taken aback by his reaction and my thoughts are just to leave him be and let him deal with it alone. This goes against my grain. I am his wife and when he grieves, I grieve. We're partners and should be there for each other. Before we were married, his grandpa passed away and he disappeared for two days. Real answers only please, no sarcasm needed.
