I think it depends how you kissed and in what circumstances it can be qualify as immoral or sexual behavior. It is also how much did you lied about this man. But if it was not more then kiss, it should not be reason for the divorce, but a reason to find out why did you do it what was missing in your marriage and try to correct it.

It can be. I don't know what other circumstances you have, but on that alone, I think it's an overreaction.
If my wife did that I think I could probably work through it. Depends on a lot of things - why you did it, what else is going on, history of this, lies, deception, hiding, planning, etc. Also, what attitude do you have now? Is it a "I'm so sorry I was so stupid I will never break your trust again please forgive me" then maybe you can change his mind. If it is a "well you never pay enough attention to me and I need what I need" then I wouldn't blame him at all.
Don't EVER do something so stupid again and maybe he will trust you again. I suspect right now he is probably (justifiably) VERY angry and I suggest you just accomodate that (within reason) until it cools off and then you can talk about this.
Good luck.

You don't need a reason to divorce. Why would you kiss another man if you are married? If your husband would consider that cheating (and it is) then I would say he is well in his right to divorce you.

It's probably not just the kiss but what led up to it too. He feels betrayed by you, and you seem to want to minimize it instead of taking responsibility for it and trying to resolve the problems that caused the kiss in the first place.

I don't think that he should divorce you because you kissed someone else...I think that you should find the reason behind the kiss...and then figure out if you want someone else...and if not repair your marriage...FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE

Yes, it is a great reason for him to divorce you. You shouldn't be kissing on any man except your hubby.

Yes. This isn't high school, or dating- It's marriage. When you kiss someone, even if it didn't, it could lead to other things. Why would you wreck something so special on something so childish?

I seriously doubt that it holds any grounds. Not by a longshot. But...I did mean to tell you that you are a fantastic kisser. Any chance that we can take it fuether because if you can kiss like that I can only imagine what other talents you possess.
