At the time you may not see it this way but my motto is "everything happens for a reason". You can't always see the reason at the time but later on you will look back down the road and agree. Don't stress the situation so much, both of you should talk about making compromises, and just go with the flow. Things will happen in due time and if its meant to be it will be!

Gurlllllll I know all about this i live in Chicago and my BF lives in Aurora so I know that long relationships suck and like it is said in a spanish saying "Amor de lejos Amor de Pendejos" i'm sorry to have to share this with you but I must it means far away love is no love so girl just get over it and move on I know it's hard because I have to go through it everyday and just recently it seems like I have been finding an excuse to push him away partly because I am afraid of having him cheat on me but I don't know what to do either but does he come to see you? or how did you meet him? Oh ps don't ever let him tell you it's your fault that you're not together because he's the guy and if he really cares he'll come looking for you!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to realize that all things happen for a reason, maybe its not possible for you two to be together now but maybe in the future when your done with your schooling things can work out if they are meant to. But the best advice I can offer yOU is to keep busy and be around people as much as possible, read a book ( I know that may sound lame, but when you find a good book you just dont want to put it down and that can keep your mind busy.). But anyway much luck to you and be strong.

Start dating others. And if both of you really wanted to be with each other one or the other would make the sacrifice by getting a job in the same field just a different company if the company is not worldwide where he could transfer or change schools. We always want to meet the right one in our lives but scared to take that chance. Life is full of chances, like you dating others.

If it's completely impossible for the two of you to get together then you need to cut yourself off from him completely. If there is a chance that when you finish school you will move to where he lives to try and make it work you can stay in contact with him.
My suggestion would be to cut him off completely. I promise you will find someone else, but if you're not looking or hung up on him it will take much longer to heal and move on.
Good luck.

The best way to get over someone is with someone else. Get a life, find a hobby you like. Get involved with charity work. If it was ment to be, it will be. You have your whole life to be tied down, have fun while you can. The right one will show up when you least expect it.

You can try to get over him by dating others, or keeping yourself busy. But, from my experience the only thing that can heal a broken heart is time.

There's really no tips on how to get over someone you like. They can tell you to keep yourself occupied by doing things you like to keep your mind off of him. They can tell you to find another guy. But no matter what you do, you can not train your mind to get over someone.

Find local people to hang with. Not a relationship, but friendships. Keep yourself occupied with your friends, hobbies, school, etc. and it will work itself out.
