ok theres this guy he likes me and i like him. he asked me to be his girlfriend but then we kind of broke up becuase he smokes and he said that we wants to wait untill he quits because he does stupid things when he's high and he doesnt wanna hurt me because he doesnt wanna loose me. so now were benefits(kinda like going out, like we act like were going out) but today hes been flirting with alot of girls saying that he's going to have kids with them and stuff. and everytime he does this he looks at me alot. why is he doing this? is he trying to get me jealous or something? i am soo confused i feel like crying...please some good advice.

why he is doing it ..not really an issue. The fact that he IS doing it makes him a jerk. Find someone better, you deserve it.

If I told you you were my girlfriend, would you have sex with me with no strings attached? He may like you but for what? As a guy, I can tell you it is real easy to tell you what you want to hear but actions say everything! Why is he doing this?....because you allow him to!
Think about what you are asking this forum and the answer is clear. Not an easy solution, but a clear solution. Get some self confidence and look at the position and place/level he is putting you in his life.
From what I can read, he can get high, call you for sex at any given moment and has no commitment to you because he blames a chemical dependency on his poor behavior or his ability to be responsible and maintain any feelings for you. Are you really buying all this garbage from him?
Why is he looking at you... He is looking at you to see if you are willing to accept this low place in his world. If so, he wins! Flip the situation around and see how easy you are making this for him. Free girlfriend/sex at his disposal!
Free sex, no obligations, all under the commitment and lack of responsibility disguise of being concerned about your feelings because he doesn't want to hurt you because he is on drugs. What a catch! I bet all girls dream of a guy like this.
Honestly... if he didn't want to hurt you and truly wanted you, he would openly be your boyfriend, would quit smoking so he wouldn't do stupid crap or at least man up and lose his immature excuses. It seems excuses and concerns equal more free sex.
Read what you wrote and I think you know what the your answer should be. I didn't say it would be easy, but if you stay with him understand and accept your low place in his world. Something tells me you are better than that. No matter what we all say here, you have to believe it and make a big girl decision and expect more in a relationship. Unless this is the best you feel you can do.

first of all don't cry because i think no guy deserves it! secondly, maybe he is trying to get you jealous, maybe he is ling to you about quitting smoking because this gives him an opportunity to flirt and do whatever he wants! if i were you i would simply talk to him and tell him that if he wants to be with me he needs not to flirt with other girls and all the stuff that you don't like! if he tells you that he doesn't care it means that the guy doesn't like you and doesn't care about you and you should forget him! but if he says that he will try make him try really hard and do his best to change his behavior! first of all i think it was nice of him to tell you the truth about it and let you kno that he does do stupid stuff when he's high b/c a lot of guys would just go get high and do the stupid things. so i compliment him for that. but the way he's going around flirting with other girls right in front of you is not right. it's not fair to you. he says he likes you and that he doesn't want to hurt you but with the way he's acting it doesn't seem like it. so you need to talk to him and tell him about it and let him kno that your not feelin that. and if he doesn't listen then girl you just needa move on cause that's a waste of time.

Perhabs he's had second thoughts about the two of you and is trying to distance himself from you. Maybe he doesn't know quite how to do this, and thinks that if he displays interest in other girls, while he knows you're watching, you'll get hurt and dismiss him, which would make it a lot easier for him as he wouldn't have to be the one breaking off the ties.

Sometimes women try so hard to read signals and hints that they think their men are dropping, but in reality sometimes its not a hint they may actually be telling you exactly how they feel, you just probally dont want to accept what ur hearing and think there's a something to read into. U should move on because that kind of behavior isnt funny its disrespectful.

He is definitely trying to make you jealous! Plus he's disrespecting you by doing that right in front of you. Really, the fact that he does drugs (and I'm assuming you don't) just shows that you guys don't belong together. Dump his sorry butt and find a good guy. No more losers for you!

This guy sounds like a jerk and he sounds like he has no idea what he wants and that is not good for you, you need someone you can depend on. As for trying to make you jealous that is probably what he is trying to do but do you want to deal with that all the time. He sounds really insecure with himself and he will take that out on you. stop talking to him and find someone who knows what they want and treats you the way you treat them

its ovius that he wants to make you jealous for you to come back and not have him stop smoking. dont show him ur jealous if u really love him try helping him out in his addiction and if it works then give him a try and if not then just try to move on. if he doesnt change for his own good wat makes u think hes gonna do it for you?

He's telling other girls he want to have kids with them in front of you...he sounds like an asshole to me. If he's interested in you, he wouldn't be flirting with other girls in front of you. I wouldn't do that to someone I liked.
