what does it mean if you dream your pregnant?
or your daughter?

All of my past relationships have been disasters. I have never found the elusive soul mate or perfect partner that I could spend eternity with. I did have one long term relationship but he made me suicidal and I had to leave in the end. It just seems to me that relationships are not a solution, they're just hopeless dreams, idealistic fantasies at the very best.

Given that this is my general outlook, should I even bother trying to look for a partner, or just give it up and go my single way till I die? I live alone and don't meet many new people through work, so to meet someone would take a concerted, specialized effort. Is it worth it? Or is being single best? Sometimes I feel unhealthy, like I never get any human contact. I'm not bad looking and I'm 26. Thanks.

Last night I found out that this guy that I have a crush on likes me back! Woohoo! I feel like I'm in high school again. He walked me to my car and gave me what could possibly be the best kiss (top 5 at least) that I've ever had!!! Could this be my next love? My friends are tired of hearing about it so I thought I would rant and rave here instead. Woohoo! He is soo effin hot and SUCH A SWEETHEART! Yay me.

Ok. Sorry for gloating.

I am leaving my abusive husband(mainly verbal and mental) soon and I have a daughter 6, and a son 4. I'm 34 and I have been with him for almost 13 years. He has tried to break me down and I'm surprised that I'm still standing. I am fed up. Our home is in foreclosure and he controls the money. It's supposedly 'his' money. He has been doing God knows what b/c his truck was repossed today. He has a 2005 explorer and never let me ride it except maybe 6 times in 2 years. He has been horrible to me and I have been in therapy for 6 months and going to domestic violence meetings and praying and I am getting stronger everyday. I know I am worthy of love and affection and undertanding. I would like to know how you deal with it and how do you like it. I know I will enjoy my freedom and peace away from him, so will my kids. We will be moving over to my mom's and now I think he knows for sur e that I'm done with his sorry ***. Should I let him know i'm leaving b/c I do have to deal with him re:kids

I thought I was being understanding, but a lot of people on here have said I'm crazy to think this...

My bf and I have been dating for 3.5 months. He told me he loves me, and I love him. I'm his 2nd serious gf (he's 23 and he dated his ex for 3 years). He moved away from her (she's in MN where he's from) and dumped her in August, when he started law school in VA with me. It's been great; we see each other everyday because we have the same classes, AND we never run out of things to talk about.

Recently, his ex told him she's dating someone. He was surprised that he felt jealous as a result. To me, this seems natural. I was jealous when my first love started dating again. He doesn't know how to deal with these feelings and is worried they might be more than jealousy. He's going home for Xmas, and he said he needs to see her to make sure he's over her. I'm worried, but he told me not to be bc he loves me and it's unlikely he still feels strongly for her. Am I stupid?

My man has never been jealous with me, which is a great thing because i am not jealous neither. But lately (after he proposed to me) he has been asking questions like : whos going with you or what was you doing when you didnt pick up the phone? and he expects an explanation, which aggravates me because im VERY FAITHFUL. is this jealousy? i thought he was not jealous! Is he going to get jealous after we marry??

The one that i love right now and vulnerable to, we clash a lot on our differences, so we get into big fights from time to time. He loves me a lot as well so that is why we can't let go of each other. It is a strenuous relationship. We both have to work hard and make a lot of compromises. It's a roller coaster ride. When we are good, we can see us getting married and be very happy together. When we get into fights, we don't see a future.

The other one has been like a soulmate to me. We are like best friends and we understand each other real well. There is some attraction, but I always see him as a friend/companion that I confide with but will never be with since he was an ex of another close friend of mine, so I will try hard to respect that. Recently, he confessed that i am the one for him and he has tried very hard to stay away from me, but couldn't, and that he will wait for me. On many levels, we are very alike, think in the same wavelength, and have great respect for each other

I am not racist at all and believe all people are equal. I just don't really agree with interacial love relationships. Maybe I am old fashioned but that is my stance and I am not going to change it. It seems my daughter for some reason is only interested in White men now. She is young so that may change in the future. What is your viewpoint on interacial relationships? I have always grown up thinking Black should be with Black, White with White, and so on.

Five questions for women who have a husband or boyfriend who's incarcerated in a correctional facility:

1) Have you cheated on him while he was away?

2) Did he tell you it was OK for you to be with another man while he was locked up?

3) Do you think he's sexually active with other male prisoners? (and don't tell me "my man's not gay" - MOST men in prison have sex with other men, and they all claim "I'm not gay - the other guy is")

4) Are you planning to get back with your man when he comes home from jail?

5) When your man comes home, are you going to have him tested for Sexually Transmitted Diseases before you have sex with him? (remember question # 3)

Advice please ! My boyfriend and I live together and have been together off and on for several years. Recently he has started an email relationship with one of the office girls at an office that he supports in Maryland. (We are in California). I have seen one of his emails where he calls her “Babe”. He says that she is only a fantasy and that I shouldn’t be upset by it – that he loves me but that he is not attracted to me physically and this helps him cope because she is young and cute. They IM each other all evening long. I am trying to accept this but it is eating me up. Any advice ?

I asked my neighbor to a dance at my school, and he was unfortunately going to be out of town, but said he was really sorry and really wanted to go. He then said that he left his new number on my cell, since i didnt answer it. Weve hung out before, just not like bf gf, making out type of hanging out, and he told me that the way i asked him was the cutest thing that had ever happened to him. He then said that i should call him some time because we definitely needed to hang out. Did he really mean that he wants to hang out? or was he just saying that?

His fam is one state away (about 4 hours) and we are going there for Christmas. I met his mom, grandma and some other family members breifly on a previous visit. His mom and I clicked and we talk occassionally. Also, I will be staying with his granda over the 4 days. Any gift suggsetions? I'm thinking $25 max for each. Bath & Body Works never fails, but I'm not sure.

I keep reading these comments in relation to cheaters and the people they cheat with - what goes around comes around and karma is a bi$%h. Any example of this actually happening?
