Some men prefer full women. However, if you're not one of them and her weight really bothers you then you probably shouldn't get back together.
I gained 35 pounds during first pregnancy and 25 during second one. And I really tried hard to get of the weight after delivery. You know why? Because I love my husband very much. I know that he'll be by my side no matter what, but I don't want him to be with me only because I'm his children's mother. I want him to be sexually attracted to me. I want him not to notice other women around but me. And you know what? Now I'm eight and a half months pregnant and probably don't look very sexy, but because my husband knows what I look like normally, he can't wait to make love to me. May be I don't have the body of the girl fom the magazine cover but I try to keep myself in reasonable shape.
People that shame you for paying attention to woman's weight are completely wrong. Their perception is that if you care about her you have to tolerate her fat butt even though she's just being lazy and doesn't want to work on herself. My perspective is that if she cares about you she'll work hard to stay attarctive for you.
Man can't be expected to be attracted to and make love to a cow.

well if she and i had gotten to the point where we became a couple, then looks was not the main reason we got together. and the fact that she gained a little weight would not be the reason that i wouldn't try to get back with her. she's an ex for a reason. sometimes that reason can be resolved, sometimes it can't. there are many factors that go into deciding on whether to get back with an ex or not... weight, would not be one of them... at least not to most guys.

If you really love her and you want her back then her weight wouldn't be a factor. I think that you should let her stay an ex because you are not ready for a woman that makes changes.

first off I don't think that you should be asking just because she has gained weight should you rekindle the relationship. What you should be asking yourself is why did we break up in the first place? try and think back and remember just what it was that you disliked about your relationship that made you split up and if those things are still unacceptable to you then opt out to maybe just being friends.

WOW! 20 whole lbs? If you have to think about it in those terms, what would you do if she gained 60 to have your baby? Do yourself and your ex a favor, keep walking.
