Some feel they have gotten trapped in it, some feel it's just good money, some consider it flaunting power and feel powerful when they do it. That can make it addictive. The best "performers" cannot have low self esteem and do what they do as well as they do it. Many feel money is power and sex sells so sexual power dominates money since people will pay big for it. People who have sex because they feel they have to ie: someone bought them dinner/ a drink; or feel they cannot say "no" have low self esteem. Low self esteem goes along with being a door mat. How many people in the adult entertainment industry let people walk all over them? trust me if you step on one you are paying for every second of that service honey. That's the difference between business and not.

There is a difference between thinking of it and considering it! :)
I have thought about it- because the money is good and the attention can be good. Then again, I have too much respect for myself to actually consider lowering myself to do something so derogatory to myself and the thought was suddenly gone. Plus, I don't think it would be right to have other men looking/touching, etc while I have a man at home!

I co-own and run an adult production company...there is nothing wrong with working in this industry if you have a good head for business.....saving the money you make, promoting yourself, getting a contract with a good company is all part of it. If you just want in it to support your drug habit, then I suggest you stay out , no one will hire you.

Not in porn because, well, ew. That's too extreme...There are some things better left to the imagination... I used to work as a cocktail waitress at a strip club though and it crossed my mind a few times to actually get on stage and make a little more money, never had the guts to though.
Porn... it's getting paid for getting laid :)
