I am in my 30's & engaged to be married. I am from Asia & in my culture we have arranged marraige. For the longest time my mom tried to force me to marry so many men that I was proposed to. She would discuss my marriage proposals with my aunt & would show them the mens pictures. Before I could say anything my aunt & mom would force me to marry them. Many of the men that was propose to me was imature, had bad habits & irresponsible in many ways. But mom said after they get married those men would change & I am being picky. Now I am engaged to a wonderful man I found on my own. My problem is she is interfearing with my wedding plans & discussing my wedding plans with relatives. I went out of town with my mother & my fiance to buy my cultural bridal dress. She discussed about it with my aunt & now my aunt doesn't think I should wear that dress. So now my mom wants to buy another dress. She gets upset when & treats me like a kid when I express to her how I feel. I am at a loss.

My boyfriend and i have had the greatest relationship for the past 2 years and complete trust. Then I found out he was texting 2 girls and had given out his work cell phone. He said it was wrong and it had nothing to do with us. It was and ego boost and it made him feel like he still had it. Then things seemed great again and when I was putting away the hats and gloves his work phone was in it. He diliberatly hid it because he thought I would freak out if I saw it. It concerns me more that he hid it because if there is nothing to hide why not just bring it home in plain view and leave it on like his other phone? That is the best way to re-establish trust. I want to believe him because his character and family values have always been consistent for the past 2 years until this. That is one of the many things I love about him. If this was a momentary lapse in judgement I know we can get back what we had. However what if I am wrong. He said it was like a mid-life crisis. Is this possible?

I asked my ex to start going out with me and be my boyfriend and he said why i had to ask him those things. Then he said we already tried being together but it didn't work out. So I said maybe we can try working things out again. I said things didn't work out because HE didn't WANT to work things out. He said "yes i want to work things out". Then we didn't talk about it anymore because I didn't want to overwhelm him. He slept over and said he missed sleeping next to someone.

I was going to get my boyfriend an ipod nano for our 5th year anniversary and i was thinking about getting the free laser engraving on the ipod website.

I was going to engrave the following:
Happy 5th Anniversary
December 1st, 2006

I just wanted some opinions on what you think about my message that I am going to engrave on the back of the ipod. Should I do it and if so then does the above message look ok? or should i engrave something else.

I have many friends
somehow only with the guys I cannot make eye contact
its not about I like them...I just cant look straight in the eye
especially if 1 day I did like some1 and didnt look him straight in the eye!!

been dating a guy for a couple of months, early in the realtionship he said he wanted to get intimate but I told him I wanted to wait. ages ago,my mates asked this guy out,he said he wasnt ready for a relationship.i always fancied him too but i was in a relationship at the time.

im not in a relationship anymore,not cause of this guy.

me and this guy ave kissed more than once and i have stayed at is place a few times.he tried to move things further sexually but i havent.we still meet casually.hes always flirting with me etc

he knows that ive come out of a 6 year serious relationship 8 months ago.

i think im giving him mised signal by "teasing" him.

Common dilemna......you have a friend.....then at some point you end up liking her. She sees you as a friend. This is the worst scenario for any guy. A few souls have been able to escape the black hole called the Friend Zone.....but very few.

We’ve not spoken for 5 days now-what should I do??The last thing she said to me was:

She said friends don’t take time apart from each other,that I should get a 1)“grip”, for me to 2)“sort my head out” and to stop causing this 3)“conflict”---MEANING?

Will she get in touch?What she thinking/feeling?What should I do???

I got too close to my female friend and I told her I had feelings for her. She decided it wud be best to remain friends.Also said:

1) "I can't imagine you not being in\a part of my life" MEANING???
2)"I don't deserve your feelings"? MEANING???

Positive or negative comments? Significant?

I then told her a few weeks later that I needed some time away from her and she DISAGREED\WAS RUDE TOWARDS ME as a result---does it mean anything???Why?

My reason was that she was behaving odd towards me and I thought it best we have some time apart.Especially for me to get over my feelings.

Have said I value our friendship and I mean that.

I have dated the guy off and on for a while. We finally got together and got engaged. I turned up pregnant. Things at home arent good. I am not happy. He is unmotivated, doesnt work, and not the best track record with the law. We live on the other side of town from my family, work, and friends. So it is just me and him. His mother lives above us, but is never home. My parents are worried about me and the baby and want the best. I know things arent right and wont be the best if I stay with him but I want the baby to have a father. I hate to give up on things. I am very confused. Please help me.

I have been divorced since march but i found out that my ex has a new girlfriend which never bothered me before but he says he wants to be serious with her! In that same sentence he says that if i dropped my current realationship he would drop his to be together! He has aked for me back numerous times and i said no! Im okay where im @ my new BF treats me like a queen but he is broke! Me and my ex do have a child together am i just missing the family together? My bf and i are thinking of getting married and he gave me papers to sign regarding the marriage?I do not fully understand everything that is in this contract. I am obligated to produce evidence that i can have children. ?Among other strange request including how often we have sex per week, and the allowance i get per week.If i divorce him i owe him money?Is this legal?Should i get a lawyer? How do you negociate a pre-nup anyone ever signed one?

My mother-in-law just bought a car with her boyfriend of 2 weeks. They both paid $15,000 each for the car. She just met him.

I think this is bad judgement on her part. I think taking money from someone you don't know is a bad idea, and also I think its a big committment for a new relationship. My husband thinks she is crazy.

Would you buy a car with a person you have been dating for only 2 weeks?

My sister-in-law returns presents that my husband and I buy her. She will keep some but I hate the fact that she expects us to be her personal shopper and get it right all the time. I hate even more the fact she shows us with the gifts that need returning months later, so we cannot even return them. Am I over-reacting? I have just bought her Xmas present and am seriously thinking of putting the receipt in the bag. What do you think?
