what do you do when you love someone but you don't think they love you even though they say it all the time?

If they treat you bad leave the relationship. I have learned you can't make someone love you. If they do not treat you bad you need to talk to them about how you feel.

it's sometimes easier to say "i love you" than it is to "show" it. which would you prefer? what's the case with your "someone"?
