I asked my ex to start going out with me and be my boyfriend and he said why i had to ask him those things. Then he said we already tried being together but it didn't work out. So I said maybe we can try working things out again. I said things didn't work out because HE didn't WANT to work things out. He said "yes i want to work things out". Then we didn't talk about it anymore because I didn't want to overwhelm him. He slept over and said he missed sleeping next to someone.

First, ask yourself why you wanted to get back together with him? Second, do you really think things will work out this time? If you really want them to work out, you need to address the reasons why it didn't work out the first time. I wouldn't advise letting him stay over, he is just using you, he misses sleeping next to somebody, so that makes you nothing more than a warm body, anyone could fill that void, you are just convienient. If you want to get back together, I would advise setting up guidlines and limitations until you both figure out exactly what you both want, if you don't, somebody will get hurt.

He is not your husband just friend So once things are not going well walk out on him. If still anything is there between you and him he will step on to work out ,of course if you were really true to your relationship.
