Ok.. I am exploding with passion, love and just want to experience life and everything it has to offer to the fullest! Only, I want to do this with my boyfriend. We've been dating a little over 2 yrs and he's in Criminal Justice in Lethbridge. Longterm is hard! I love him with all my heart and want to spend my life with him.. I'm ready to get engaged. I don't think he's at the same stage as I am. I know we're young (20 yrs) but being engaged doesn't mean we have to get married asap.. I'm not in a rush but I know I'm ready and this is what I want out of life right now. I really want someone to be with, watch movies with, learn to cook with, get a place.. Start Life! I'm not sure if I should wait for him ..? Or move on and find someone else who is more on my level?? Someone who is ready and wants the same as I do..

My daughters is engaged to a lovley boy but its the age old problem of a interfering mother inlaw I cannot do a thing right she will call and the conversation will be great and then suddenly she will start prying into things and making rude comments. I let my daughter move out of home she is 20 yrs old and she works long hours and somtimes i dont get to see her for a few days The mother in law told me that i dont have a good relationship with my daughter because i let her leave home and said in more ways than one that i am a bad mum. What am i to do i dont want to say anything to my daughter as it will really upset her and if the boyfriend finds out he will most likley tell her. How can i deal with this woman she is so judgemental about everything and of course she is the perfect parent so she tells me!

There's a guy that I used to really like a long time ago---(well, more like a year ago)---Anyway, I never really got to have a conversation with him.

One day last week, I had just come from seeing a movie with my sister and her son, when right at the next street corner, I saw this guy walking out of the building where he works (didnt know he worked there until later).

When I saw him, I just said hello and smiled, ---he at first, kept walking on for a second, but then kept looking back repeatedly as though he recognized me. Long story short-----we walked and talked for at least a whole block, until my sister came up behind and he FINALLY realized WHO I was!!! I cant believe he was talking to me without fully realizing who he was talking to. Anyway, it was hilarious. At the end of the "revelation", we hugged on another goodbye and went our separate ways.

Does this make me believe in fate?----Not sure.

he &me had a 9 month love affair. he always refused protection, but i refused to be careless. until weeks ago. i wanted to trust him and do love him. even though i knew it might be a risk. i was just so happy and love blinded me. after a long time not seeing him, i "freaked out" and fell from the clouds. i had fear of not knowing his past and of a possible hiv infection. i called him and asked him to make the test. he cheered me up a little. sweet. wanted to go there if i needed to be sure. i told him he kind of put me back in tracks. i was glad first. but now, since this call where he reassured me and cheered me up, i have not heard from him since 2 weeks :-( it is a long story...some things make it impossible for us to be closer. but as far as i can, i do love him in a special way. i tolerate his way and i really really appreciate and love him. but now...

what is it? is he afraid? angry i dared to think such a thing of him? does he feel like i overpassed a barrier & now hiding from

I'm 19, so the homemade stuff wont cut it. I'm looking to spend $50-$150 on multiple things or one good thing. He isnt a big sports buff, he rides a Harley (I've gotten him thousands of Harley stuff,) and he is a handy man but doesnt need any more tools. I'm stumped on what I should get him, and would love some ideas. Thanks!

I just ended a very bad relationship for the 5th and hopefully last time. She and I had been off and on for the past 3 years, durring which she ended our relationship three of the five times by cheating on me. She was always in control in our relationship, to the point that i turned down a full scholarship from a university in florida and rejected an offer to interview for gym job in virginia beach to stay close to her. unfortunately, all my other relationships have followed a very similar pattern, where my partner has been in complete control and abused that in one form or another, from mental games to physical abuse. i just can't figure out why i keep letting myself be controlled, and why, even now, i still want to be with my ex?

There's a man I sort of know from a city I visit for work once in a while and we get along great. I found out from another in his office that he's married with a child, but he has never mentioned it to me. He doesn't hit on me directly but I do have his attention and we have been in situations where it would have been quite wise for him to let me know he is hitched. We have had many conversations where I think he had opportunity to let me know. I finally innocently mentioned it to him and he didn't deny it.

Is it because he shouldn't be required to tell me this kind of information? Am I totally off my rocker?

We often hear that looks may be important, but character is as important if not more so.

However, I've noticed that people assess another person's character based on their looks. If you like a girl, she may be dumb as a rock but whatever she says sounds reasonable and even intelligent to you. If a girl doesn't like you, no matter how gentlemanly, romantic and genteel you are, all your gestures will be wrong.

If she likes you, flowers are a present that expresses caring. If she doesn't like you, she'll say you're corny, old-fashioned, silly and just tasteless. Similarly, if he likes you, any little gesture will be interpreted as well-meaning, refined, pretty or smart. The same gesture, done by a girl he doesn't like, will be (to him) silly, meaningless, contradictory or just plain stupid.

If our own appreciation of character is thus tainted by the basic physical attraction, then could we say that "looks" is in the end the only thing that matters?

Here is the situation, I'll be brief. I haven't spoken to my father since I was 13, going on 16 years. My father was a physically and verbally abusive to me during my childhood. I'm now 29 and I don't know what to do...

I am stuggling financially, but my father's side of the family is wealthy. My grandmother made a fortune in oil and my father has made a few millions himself. I know if I reunite with my dad my financial worries would be gone. My brother still keeps in touch with him and he tells me that my Dad always asks about me, misses me. I am torn and I don't know what to do. Do I continue to not talk to my father and be written out my father's will and lose an inheritance in the millions (I am not in my grandmother's will and my brother informed me I am not in my father's will as well). Or do I try to establish some sort of relationship so I can have access to that enormous fortune?

We live thousands of miles apart and it seems distance and our circumstances will keep us away from each other's arms. I love him so dearly and I believe he does and he promises to love me forever. We keep in touch everyday, we send each other gifts. I have loved him all my life and I am just so scared that the day will come when this has to end and we have to move on. im at uni, and i had the opportunity to move into a better flat with a bigger bedroom with my now flatmate. i only saw the new flat yesterday and im supposed to be moving in today but my bedroom is far too small and the flat isnt as good as she said, what should i do ? and if i havnt signed anything, can the accomodation service make me move in?

we have been together for like 3 years and we get along great and love each other a lot, but since i started my second job we dont get to talk on the phone much at all....only a text message when we get the chance and we dont really live close enough to see each other everyday, but he works til 2:30 through the week days and them comes home and plays video games for the most part and when i send him a message it takes him forever to answer me and when he does finally answer, it a very short answer like hehe or thats good or that sucks...it seems like he doesnt want to talk to me and he always wants me to open up more, but how can i if i feel like this?
