There's a man I sort of know from a city I visit for work once in a while and we get along great. I found out from another in his office that he's married with a child, but he has never mentioned it to me. He doesn't hit on me directly but I do have his attention and we have been in situations where it would have been quite wise for him to let me know he is hitched. We have had many conversations where I think he had opportunity to let me know. I finally innocently mentioned it to him and he didn't deny it.
Is it because he shouldn't be required to tell me this kind of information? Am I totally off my rocker?

The looser is hoping for some simple minded girl to work his member. Dump any thoughts that he is a man and worthy of your attention. He will destroy is wife and child's innocent life with some other dim wit. Be glad you know better. Go on.

If you are just working with this man then him telling you that he is married or not is not important.
You will have to define what you mean by 'situation where it would have been quiet wise for him to let you know he was hitched". Were you two getting physical?
If you find this man interesting do you not think that would have been a question you might have asked him.? Like "hi how are you doing,? So, are you married.? Got any kids?

Women do the same. Unfortuneatly, its a fact of life.
I used to chat to a woman from Sydney, (I'm in Melbourne) she would call me when she was out, I called her at home, we made arrangements to meet, until one day......
She was in a foul mood, so when I asked her to tell me what the matter was...she explained that her husband had upset her big time.
For over 2 years she never told me she was married. Never mentioned her hubby and was more than willing to make the relationship more "intimant".
So now I dont chat with "attached" or married women, and the married ones I do I make sure thier partners are aware of this.
Recently the High court of Australia overturned a desision for a guy that found out that 2 of his children were not fathered by him and he paid child support for these children for years. He won at the supreme Court level but the board of appleals overturned the ruling due to "there is no onus of a partner in marriage to tell the truth".
That was the legal opionion of three judges, but morally the decision is wrong, just as this guy should have told you of his situation.
But ask yourself this...if he didnt tell you about something of this magitude of importance...what else would he lie to you over?
You arent off your rocker or looked silly over this matter...hes just dishonest

he sees an opportunity to be with u, and knows well if u found out he was married it would spoil his chances. he doesn't have your best interest at heart, and he is looking at cheating on his wife, maybe there are problems at home, maybe he doesn't love his wife anymore. stay clear of him because if not u could end up with a broken heart.

You're reading too much into the situation. Now that you know he has a wife, then there's nothing to think about. He is off limits.

the reason he denied it is cause he is haveing problems at home and if it ends at home he wants a chance with you but if he tells you he is married than he loses your attention and the shot of going out with you cause if he gets divorce than he is a rebound

Maybe he was hoping to cheat on his wife with you and since you're from out of town, it would have been easy to lie about his life. OR, maybe he just assumed you knew. Depends on your relationship with him. But 99.9% of married men will drop "My wife and I.." or "My daughter/son..." into a conversation!

if you know that something is between yall then chances are he knew too and he didnt tell you he was married. id watch out for him. you wouldnt wanna be the reason he gets divorced.

He is just being dishonest. He should be wearing a wedding ring, so that you'll know he is married.

the reason why he didnt tell you this. is he was trying to use you and add you to his list . arent you glad you found out before he made you look silly., in his buddies eyes as well men like doing this to women. tell the jerk ou arent as low as him and you have morals. ?
