Tell her to butt out of your life and your relationship with your daughter. You don't need anybody comparing your relationship to that of another. Tell your daughter the truth and let the chips fall where they may. Who says that you have to see this woman any way?
Pray that God will touch her heart and convict her of her negative ways. Ask God for wisdom, truth, and honor.
Hope this helps.

Well you should stand up for yourself and should let your daughter know how uncomfortable you are around her mother in law. Don't let anyone tell you that you are a bad parent because you were there when she was sick, you were there in her emotional trying times and you put a room over her head, clothes on her back and gave her food to eat. Where was her meddling mother in law when you were in hours of labor. Don't make her bully you, you should tell her just what you think of her. Just let the wedding go smoothly and let her have it after a while or when the kids are on their honey moon. Don't you just hate when people are trying to tell you how to grow your kids up?

Why talk to her then?? Why don't you ask this women at what age her son moved out of her house and why her son couldn't get a job and move out like most normal 20 year oldies'?? It sounds to me like the boyfriends mother is over protective and over barring. Tell her to cut the cord and let the kids grow up already.

Tell her to BUTT OUT!!! If you are happy with the relationship with your daughter, be happy... And if your daughter is happy with the relationship, then you are sorted...
I think you are doing the right things by your daughter... She is an adult and should be allowed to live her life... She has her boyfriend now to enjoy time with... And when she needs her mother, you are there for her... GOOD FOR YOU!!!

Just tell her that apparently you must have done something right for her son to fall in love with her. What is she going to say to that? Put her in her place without being mean. Besides your relationship with YOUR daughter is none of her business. How is her relationship with her son? Start playing her game.

Smile, be polite and say to the woman, "Thank you for your concern." or "Thank you for your opinion" no matter what rubbish she says. Be very polite when you say it.
